When I made the booking, and when we got sat down to our table, no one told us that we have a 1.5 hr limit on our seating. We have a friend running late so we decided to order drinks first.
20 mins in, a waiter came to us and forced us to order food because we have only got one hour ten mins left. Told us that we have to vacate our table by 7.30. This was sufficient despite not having pre-warnings, so we ordered.
However, two waiters then took turns into reminding us EVERY TEN MINUTES that we have to vacate the table by 7.30. It ruined the experience for us. My friends and I ordered almost every item off the menu and while everything has been excellent, the services (or disservice more so) has been shameful and subpar.
Will never come back here. Other restaurants would at least state in the booking the time limit we get seated. We have been looking forward to coming here too. Such a shame really.
EDIT TO RESPONSE: Oh wow! The audacity! First off, three of us arrived at 6.08, which you would’ve seen from your CCTV. Our third friend was right there. Two of us came in together but the third friend was there before we even got seated.
On your ‘CCTV’, how many times did a waiter approach our table? Took orders, served it, took plates? That was how many times someone ‘reminded’ us that we should leave by 7.30. From the amount of food we’ve ordered alone and from my memory, it would be around 7 times. Out of that 7, 5 times they told us we about our timeframe. Before you say anything, I’ve excluded the time before 6.20. So within the span of 1 hr 5 mins, we were told five times. (If you’re gonna nitpick my review I’ll nitpick the experience).
Second of all, on the phone you weren’t sure whether your waiter told us about the 90 minute seating based on your CCTV and you told me this. I can guarantee you, he did not.
I did mention to you that the first time we got told about the seating was at 6.20. Which was a fact we should’ve known from the time of booking, but regardless is enough reminder for all of us. I did tell you that we’re not kids, but seems like you are from the fact that you’d happily drag a phone call AND write the lengthy response to my review with plenty of assumptions.
Your phone call has done more damage if anything. I wasn’t getting angry by facts because hey, I did mention to you “you called me to defend your business and that’s fine”. By the end of it, it felt like harassment. You called me names such as ‘negative’, chuckling on the phone when I would express concerns and you’d just keep defending your staff. Hey, you didn’t directly tell me to delete my review but you’ve tried to pull heartstrings by saying “hey, every review affects us and every bad review would really affect my business negatively”.
Don’t twist my words, I didn’t call your staff untrained. I said “Hopefully the staff gets trained on how to have people skills”. I also didn’t say you should be ashamed of yourselves. My exact word was “absolutely shameful since the food was so good”. Different. Completely different. Maybe on your next harassment phone call I can explain these expressions this to you!
I’ve seen your response to my friend’s review and it is exactly your response to mine. How original! I also did not SMS you any response back. I have emailed BACK after you’ve sent a typical email. Feel free to post the screenshot since you seem to think it’s some sort of a defense for you!
You felt like it was a threat when I told you about my friend posting another negative review? Well, this time I’ll tell everyone I know in Sydney about my experience, how about that ☺️ worry not, I’m sure you’d harass everyone who leaves a negative review over the phone, chuckle over every negative experience AND twist the story when you respond to their review!
Lastly, instead of improving in the future (which is really, what any other restaurant would do), you decided to reply in a sarcastic and snarky tone. That’s top tier professionalism...

📍 Hustlers - Syd 🤑 ~$80 to $100 pp 🤖 4/5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Sydney rock oysters with eschalot, ponzu and dill : 5/5 🦪🦪🦪
Let me tell you, I'm a huge fan of ponzu and oysters but this dish as an appetiser goes above and beyond. The little bursts 💥💥💥of flavour of eschalot fused with the freshness of the oysters and refreshing taste of ponzu come together in tandem to produce a flavour you constantly crave. Hands down one of the best appetisers I've had! 😎😎😎
Beef tartare : 5/5 🐮🐄🐮
Now beef tartare is such a common dish but let me tell you, these bois have it down pat! 🫡 At first we thought their was too much cracker to tartare ratio but these guys have it sorted for you. Often I find many locations skimp on the cracker but they do not here. Using the Vietnamese sesame cracker is an absolute game changer with food delivery vehicle.😜 The beer tartare boasts a strong punch to the face full of flavour that will have you saying trời ơi 🇻🇳
Salmon Ceviche with coconut cream nước mắm and green shallot oil 4.5/5 🎣🎣🎣
It is incredible at how this dish brought to our minds the flavour of ốc🐌. I would say this dish deserves a shout out in its own right but having it after the beef tartare I feel I couldnt give it a fair go. Though, the cheeky use of coconut cream nước mắm really produced a great combo. I would love to get it again if I could pair it with some bread!🥖🥖
Mb3+ intercostal steak with hoisin tare and togarashi 4/5 🥩🥩🥩
This dish was not as I expected but hugely welcome to us. It's served piece by piece already for you for ease of access. When eaten by itself it may come out a little salty with the togarashi. Though when paired with the fried rice, it's when it's true flavours flourish. This cut of steak is a perfect for those whom hate chewing, cause IT JUST MELLLLLLLTS.....🤤🤤🤤
Garlic fried rice 5/5 🍚🍚🍚
💃 Service 6/5
Honestly, what made the night was the insane service by Jacky the manager.

We came here for a hens bottomless and could not have been more impressed. The service was fantastic from start to finish — super warm, efficient, and so accommodating. Sophia especially stood out — she was a total gem! Friendly, attentive, accommodating, and made sure everything ran smoothly the entire time (including helping us rescue balloons that got sucked into a vent).
The bottomless package was excellent value for money — we did quite a bit of research on other bottomless options in the city, and this one really stood out in terms of the food and drinks on offer. We do have to order drinks in rounds (i.e. can't order two drinks per person at once) and I was worried that it might be one of those 'great drinks but slow service' nonsense but that wasn't the case. The staff were on it the whole time, keeping the drinks flowing and making sure everyone was happy.
The cocktail selection was fantastic, and for those in our group who weren’t drinking, they offered delicious mocktails so everyone got value for their money. As a lovely surprise for the hens celebration, they even brought us a free round of shots — such a fun touch!
The food was absolutely delicious too — not always a given with bottomless deals, but this one delivered on all fronts. Everyone left happy and full. There was a little misunderstanding when the bill came but they corrected it by giving us a voucher, which was fair (especially given the free shots they offered for the hens) and appreciated.
All the other bridesmaids were raving about how much they loved it and how it was way better than other bottomless they’d done before. We'll definitely be back!
Only thing I would say is I wish they had a phone number that is in service or more details on their website given the lack of accessibility via phone. However, they were very responsive and helpful on email so I'm not too fussed.
Highly recommend for any group celebration or just a great value, quality bottomless...
