Call your banks and submit a fraud dispute to get your money back when this guy rips you off.
Donāt waste your time pursuing this guy for a refund as heās a professional con artist. Heās fraudulent and he knows it. Poor staff arenāt even getting paid under the guise of a ātrialā shift. Note to the staff members - on your last ātrialā shift, use the eftpos terminal refund option to pay yourself the wages this guy owes you.
I will be reporting this guy to Fair work as these young kids are being taken advantage of.
Charged me and my friend for the same order pretending that my friend had not already paid when she walked outside and waited for me. Then proceeded to charge me for both our orders + overcharged me with prices different to what was listed on the board.
Called to request a refund of the $22.50 additional charges and a young girl on the phone went through the steps on the eftpos terminal and come time to collect my bank details to process the refund, she hung up on me and wonāt answer the phone anymore. Iām sure sheās just terrified of the repercussions from her boss but still a frustrating experience.
Easier to lodge a police dispute and contact your bank than to chase up dishonest people.
Your business survives off first time customers purely because of location. Your ice cream isnāt any better than a home brand tub from Woolworths and your attitude is even worse. All the best with upholding this business practice in a society that leaves reviews for every bad...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this ice cream shop with my mum yesterday afternoon; I have to say that the gentleman who served us, was the smiliest person I have ever seen. There was a little girl who was just leaving with her family, she was waving "goodbye" to him, and did so about 5 times, and this guy was waving back, laughing and smiling, having a waving-goodbye competition with her. That was lovely!
I had a scoop of the lemon gelato, and one of the kinder Bueno - with a flake - so good! No idea what mum had, but she enjoyed it, she also had a coffee, which I spilled on the table, but there was no problems at all! He was happy to help us out, and had that big smile for the whole time we were there.
I also noticed that he knew some of the customers who walked in, or past, by name - I always think that's wonderful - if you can take the time to know the names of the people in your area, you must care about what you do.
The shop was very clean, lots of gelato flavours, and lots of ice cream flavours - all had allergy information present (gluten free, dairy free, nut free, or containing. Etc.) It made my choice very easy, I didnt need to ask which ones were which.
Just as an aside, he has all of those really cool 90's lollies at his shop, too; gummy hamburgers, red clouds in a bag, sour worms in a bag, so many! Reminded me of after-soccer-games from when I was a kid.
Thank you smiley man! I forgot to ask your name, but thank you so much! You brightened our arvo from the wind blowing a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the displeasure of having walked past this place Friday 29th May 2020. It was raining and my 4 year old grandson was ahead of me and placed himself into the Ice Creamery's static ice cream display van. Like a bee to the honey, kids are drawn to these toy like coin-operated amusement rides aimed at young children. When myself and my daughter reached him, a woman was instantly asking if we wanted coffee. We discussed it and said no. Then a guy walks out with a rag and disinfectant to wipe the van down and tells us that unless we bought something it was going to cost $2 for the grandson to have gotten himself into their little van. Seriously.....!!!!! We selected a bottled juice for the grandson and proceeded to pay. No would not accept cash. Last time I checked cash is legal tender here in Australia. Went to pay with card and then was told there is a $10 minimum. Daughter reluctantly selected something else, paid and got out of there. Needless to say, as locals, we will never be returning to your shop not that we had any intentions to in the first place, just the misfortune of having walked past your shop...and I will go out of my way to encourage others as well to avoid your shop. Bulling people is not a nice thing at the best of times....but in a business. Seriously need to look...
