These place has really gone downhill and it’s such a shame because they had so much potential to do amazing . Firstly let’s start it’s the service & food I came here the day before my brothers wedding as he booked the whole upstairs section and I came the night before to prepare and decided to get something to eat while no one was in the resturant and I ordered a Kafta wrap it took 45 minutes to make . Before leaving after setting up I advised the staff that upstairs floor is sticky and the baby chairs need to be cleaned prior to the wedding tomorrow which in response I got was yes no worries . As it came to the wedding upon arrival everything remained the same floor sticky , baby seats dirty which was the first disappointment of the night all tables set by us and yet no cutlery , plates or cups for the tables were placed nor napkins which if it was any other venue that would have been completed . especially for the price that was paid over $5000 so you can already imagine such a big event and so many thing already going wrong . Numerous times we had advised the staff to please start putting water on tables , plates , cutlery ect before 136 guest where to arrive in the next hour to the responses no worries . It was never done . Which the poor bride was so sad. Wedding started at 6pm and the mezza didn’t come out until 8pm keep in mind not every table received mezza . Nor drinks nor food . ESPECIALLY THE BRIDE AND GROOM when they should have been priority . The mains didn’t come out until 9.30pmish in which kids were already upset and crying , the bride and groom and guests very unhappy . Having only 2 - waiters and waitresses for 136 guest didn’t make any sense . Management definitely needs to be held accountable for this absolutely disaster a wedding is such a big event . And so many of the brides requests were dismissed and it’s absolutely disgusting for the price paid and the service received was not okay alot of guest didn’t even receive any food and when staff was asked for food for tables that were missed was advised the kitchen is now closed I’m sorry but being there from 4pm - 10.30-11 without a proper meal is not acceptable . Not only that the guest being my aunty is the one that had to cut the wedding cake and distribute it to the guests as we were told they don’t offer cake cutting and plating services . As someone that has worked in numerous wedding venues & events co ordination I can say so many things was a problem here the owners really need to be advised of the situation at hand as this is not over here and I will be making a formal complaint to the correct person. Image attached it 2 days after the wedding and the food is still there absolutely disgusting

They brought us our tea. The food was absolutely delicious and couldn’t be faulted. During the meal we thought we may need more food. We called waiter and asked if adding to the order will take time to which he replied ‘Yes it will take a long time. We’re a busy restaurant’. I thought of at least 5 different ways he could have responded to that question which wouldn’t have infuriated me the way it did. He was standoffish and couldn’t care less. He was like that the whole time we were there. Really would’ve liked to give more stars but dining out is about so much more than the food. Customer service is just as important. We loved the food but won’t be dining here anymore. Takeaway will definitely be the option.

Fattoush had dried everything, the radish and cucumber were that shriveled up you couldn't convince me they weren't in the sun for a week even the cabbage was the same and the cauliflower could've been the worst yet because it's so easy to make they still managed to stuff it up they're burnt which makes them taste like the oil isn't changed.. probably wasn't. Either starve or go to rashay's which is a leap above them.

Where to begin, my partner and I ordered through uber. Timing was pretty good but honestly would've have rather waited a century or have my order cancelled. We ordered a fatteh, arnabeet (fried cauliflower) and fattoush, what we got was a fatteh swimming in water probably cause the chickpeas weren't drained. Fattoush had dried everything, the radish and cucumber were that shriveled up you couldn't convince me they weren't in the sun for a week even the cabbage was the same and the cauliflower could've been the worst yet because it's so easy to make they still managed to stuff it up they're burnt which makes them taste like the oil isn't changed.. probably wasn't. Either starve or go to rashay's which is a leap above them.

If you want terrible service, a sore stomach and an overall terrible experience, this is the place for you. The pricing is cheap, and that’s exactly what you get, cheap food with no flavour. The service could not possibly get any worse, when asked why our order came out wrong, the waiter shrugged his shoulders. When asked if we could order something on the menu, we were told “Nah, we don’t have it”. The staff need customer service training to say the least, they have no communication skills, nor do they know how to talk to people who are dining in their restaurant. I think these places forget that without customers they would not be open. And don’t bother asking for a drink, the fridge doesn’t work apparently so you have a poor selection of drinks which are warm to choose from. but you can go next door to Rashays to buy a drink and bring it back if you really want to eat here.

Now to the cleanliness, let’s just say I have eaten in third world countries with better hygiene standards and cleanliness than this place, expect the need to wash your clothes as soon as you get home as the seats are extremely dirty, and the cutlery and plates look like they were washed with the same cloth they use to wipe the tables. I am not sure where all these 5 star reviews are coming from, the only way I see this place getting 5 stars is if they paid for the review. Don’t get me wrong, maybe they were better before COVID, but we dined there last night based on the reviews, and this was our experience, we were a table of 7, and we wished we went somewhere else. You would think they would try even harder to keep customers or use the off time to clean the place. I guess that only comes with experienced restaurants. And I am sure the owner will respond to these comments and say I dont know what I am talking about and I have been paid to leave the comment, go and see for yourself and you will remember my review. I don’t think places that do not care about their customers should be praised and would hate for someone else to have the same experience as we did when there are so many other places to choose from so you can actually enjoy your meal.
