So disappointed with the horrible service we received on Tuesday night. The girl that served us was incredibly rude. She didn't greet us despite me greeting her with a smile and made the interaction feel uncomfortable from the get go.

That aside, I asked if she could share what nuts were in the granola mix (as my partner has an anaphylactic allergy to some nuts). She rolled her eyes and said, "pretty much just almonds". We hadn't had a problem with other acai stores in the area who were always very clear about their mixes. I trusted her statement because surely the staff is trained on food allergies in hospitality???

My partner ended up getting an anaphylactic reaction shortly after because she failed to mention that there were HAZELNUTS in the granola mix. Please train your staff for these things as it could cost someone their life. I understand people have their bad days and gave her the benefit of the doubt as someone who works on customer service. I ordered a Dubai Strawberry Cup on Uber Eats, and the Kunefe option wasn’t available, even though I wanted it. When I asked for it, they tried to charge me an extra $5 — after I’d already paid for the full order and delivery.

When I questioned it, they said it “includes delivery,” even though I already paid delivery, and then claimed Kunefe is in-store only. Nowhere in the world does it say this.

It’s completely unfair to customers to hide extra charges, make up rules after an order is placed, and not provide options that should be available. Very disappointing experience — I wouldn’t recommend ordering this item from Purple Parrot...

Worst customer service ever! Totally wastage of money. Ordered a large parrot cup with sauce but they poured acai in cup without sauce and drizzled little bit on the top. How can someone eat large cup without sauce?? I wouldn’t mind to pay extra If they have told me their strategy of serving sauce. Plus taste of peanut butter sauce was below average.
