Not sure what restaurant I was at but it certainly wasn't the one getting all these great reviews. One review says, best Lebanese I've ever had.. REALLY?????. I'd had some damn good Lebanese in my time but this wasn't it. . The place was presented well, clean and tidy. Air con was off and we had to leave quicker than we wanted to. Music was much too loud with the bass turned up. NOT what I want over dinner. Nearly every meal comes with the option of rice or chips only. NOT what I want if I'm having meat. Salad is available as an extra. I had a chicken burger which tasted very nice, but had too much sauce and with every bite I had to wipe my hands down. It was a mess. Food was fresh though and the bun was nicely toasted. The taste was very nice, just messy. One friend gave up as he didn't want to eat the rice and my other friend said his meat was delicious but the presentation was dreadful. Everything served in cardboard. A plate would have been nice. What a waste of resources. Staff were nice and friendly but the presentation of the food was as low as it gets. I can't imagine the clientele of Crows Nest rushing in for seconds. Sorry. Good potential there, but the menu needs to be a bit more exciting and expanded. It's basically a lower class take away or eat in joint at the moment with little atmosphere to make you want to go...

I can't even begin to describe how good the food at Jijos Grill is - blew my mind. The chicken wrap and lamb wrap were absolute taste sensations. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was embraced by the warmest and friendliest staff, making me feel like part of their family.
Now, let's talk about the food – it's an absolute revelation! The chicken wrap was a symphony of flavors, and the lamb wrap, oh my, it was a gastronomic masterpiece. Every bite was an explosion of taste, with the freshest and tastiest ingredients.
What makes this place even more exceptional is that it's a family-run establishment. You can sense the genuine love and dedication they pour into both their food and service. It's more than just a meal; it's a heartfelt experience.
If you're seeking an extraordinary culinary journey filled with warmth and flavour, you absolutely need to come to this place. Don't miss out on an unforgettable...

Just had to share this Jijo Grill in Crows Nest completely blew me away. It looks like your regular Mediterranean grill from the outside, but everything about it feels special once you walk in.
The food is ridiculously fresh — smoky, garlicky, lemony in all the right ways. Their wraps are loaded, the dips taste like someone’s grandma made them that morning, and the staff treat you like family. Even the vegetarian plates (try the mujaddara or that tomatoey cracked wheat salad) are full of soul.
It is family run restaurant and owners are super nice.
Good for a takeaway as much as sit down dinner. Very well maintained and polish vibes Honestly, it is the kind of place that reminds you why small local spots beat big names every time. Simple food,...
