We had a very pleasant evening here and everything ran smoothly, starting from the online booking and prompt email confirmation from the manager. As there were only two of us dining we were squeezed into a small table in the back corner which would have been a tad claustrophobic had it been full, but being the new Covid age, and with only two or three other occupied tables, we were quite comfortable in our cosy little nook. The internal heating kept the place warm even though it was a chilly night. Our pretty waitress was attentive, friendly and efficient. Orders were quickly taken. First came the drinks, followed by the garlic bread and salad, then the mains. It all flowed like a well oiled machine with no long waiting in between courses. And in a nice touch, our waitress would ask us if we were ready for the next course and in what order we would like our meals. For our mains we both chose pasta dishes, which were delicious. My spag with meatballs was cooked perfectly and the size was just right, not too big to overwhelm or too small to leave one still feeling hungry afterwards. The lettuce and tomato salad was wholesome and nutritious with a nice tangy dressing. For dessert, what else, but our fav tiramisu and what a winner that was too. It was fresh and creamy; the perfect way to end the meal. The interior of the restaurant is colourfully decorated in trad Italian colours of white, green and red, It has a homely and warm feeling to it, a tad cramped if it got really busy with tables packed quite close to one another and the sound of other diners reverberating around the place, but with a small turnout, we were easily able to converse. The toilets are out at the back. There’s a single unisex one, but it’s clean and well provisioned with all the right health messages plastered on the walls. This is a first class restaurant on every level. The fact that it’s been here at the same location for decades is testimony to its outstanding food and service. It’s stood the test of time. These guys make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. They appreciate your custom and it’s a pleasure to spend an evening here. With my 25% Ent Book voucher (up to a max $25), we paid a modest $68 for two drinks, garlic bread, salad, two mains and shared dessert. Can’t complain about that! There’s easy and unrestricted parking in Ernest Street, a short 12 minute level stroll away or there’s always the Woolworths car park, in Burlington Street, with two hrs free parking. If you’re lucky and with things being so quiet you may even find a spot outside on the Pac Highway.

🍕This pizza, wow wow WOW! Think melted cheese, tasty toppings and authentic flavours that blend together in the perfect bite. This pizza party was the highlight of the week, for good reason! 🍤 Waterworld: Fior di latte, faro bros garlic prawns, fermented chilli & casilico – Honestly, I’m actually usually not the biggest prawn fan but this pizza was my favourite, so that is saying something! The prawns were so tasty and fresh, plus the garlic flavour was to die for. 🍖 Bada bing, bada boom: Fior di latte, whole beast butchery deli porchetta, roast potato & rosemary – the most unique of the pizzas! The strong flavour of the porchetta balanced nicely with the cheese topping, and the hint of rosemary made for a great blend of flavour. *The Special* Lamb ragyu, blow torched provolone & chilli oil: Sam’s favourite, the blow-torched cheese not only looked great but tasted great, too. We’re big melted cheese fans so tasting that warm, oozy goodness was delicious. Plus, lamb is our fav meat! Pizza bros are having pizza parties all through April, make sure you give them a visit! @ahungryhalfie

The pizza we received was nice however when we ordered via Menulog, we received gluten free pasta when there was nowhere on the Menulog app that we specified we wanted gluten free. Please see attached image for evidence. The food delivery was also over 30 mins late. Please fix this on the app so that other people don't waste $3.5 on GF pasta they don't want in the first place!!!

Currently staying at royal north share hospital and I've been here long enough that the food is getting boring & gross. Decided to try some vegan pizza delivered via Uber eats and this was the exact kind of pizza I wanted- crispy crust with flavour, delicious sauce and whatever vegan cheese they use tastes phenomenal, honestly minus the lack of "cheese pull" no one would know it wasn't vegan. Ordered from here's 3 times so far and am happy every time with the food quality. The only thing that took a star off was the driver getting confused & calling me a few times, first time not believing me when I said I was in hospital, then when he realised I was actually at the hospital was told that isn't possible to get food dispite the fact that I'd been ordering food here all week. He then went to the private hospital and walked the 800/900m from there to me and said they drove up the street my buildings on and said I'd lied about being there the entire time which I definitely was. I was waiting there a few minutes early and I was the only standing there in light and only saw them walk up to me and there had been no cars drive past, let alone twice. So if you have a hard to find house they might struggle the first (or first few) times. It is also a bit expensive but the food is so good that its worth it...

First time ordered pizza from Mario brothers on Tuesday night from a hotel in North Sydney and while it was raining, the wait time was a bit long. Meanwhile, I was famished and I so appreciated when the driver called me when he arrived and said that he’s downstairs in the lobby for the delivery. I told the driver that I’l there in 2 minutes. However, when I reached Ground Floor, I couldn’t find the driver though. I called him and asked where he was and was shocked when he said he just gave the pizza to me. I was shocked, disappointed and hangry too. Because definitely it wasn’t delivered to me.

It so happened that while staying at the hotel, somebody else under the name of Elizabeth took my order. I believe it could have been a coincidence that the other lady also ordered pizza and her name is Elizabeth. It’s just that the driver said there was only one order for Mario Brothers and that was mine.

Anyway long story short, the driver told me he will speak to his manager and truly, about 15mins later, that manager called to confirm the story and shortly after received my pizza delivery and the dessert I ordered.

I just wanted to give a shoutout for the amazing service, prompt response and quick delivery of my food to resolve the inconvenience of...
