3.4 - Dropped by this very quiet place (I assume this is because nobody much is around on the weekends) that was a cross between a Vintage pub and modern offices. Tried the combination pho and found it to be stodgy. Had to ask for lemon which helped but didn't get rid of that flavour. Also had to ask for a mug of hot water (although staff, despite being pleasant didn't think this through and served it in a glass, where of course, nobody could hold to sip). Meat in the Pho was ok and hot enough to cook in the soup, but there was a lack of herbs and a lack of bean sprouts, which made the rice noodles taste heavier than normal. It only came with Meatballs, which I did love, but would have enjoyed a bit of Tripe and Tendon as is normal for Combination Phos. Also tried the spring rolls which came out tiiiinnnnyyyy! Expensive lunch.

Find this place by chance on Google and decided to give it a go. Love Viet food and figured it would be perfect for a hot afternoon. First impressions is positive. I love the warehouse look, was clean, well laid out and staff were friendly. Menu is good but more difficult to read then normal, and prices were reasonable for the city. I ordered their Bun (Vermacili salad). Presentation was very good, very colourful and the vegetables well julienned. Bowl looks big but it's really not as deep as you would expect. Noodles were very good, still had some chew which is fantastic. Sauce was good too. Problem is the beef - well flavoured but tough. Shame as it would otherwise have been a 5 star dish Good coffee too - not the best in Sydney but very good for a non coffee focus Cafe.

quite a lovely spot! the interior of the cafe was great, and the staff were very lovely and friendly. in a convenient spot close to broadway shops, yet tucked away just enough from the main road to avoid the bustling sounds of the city. I visited with a friend one saturday afternoon, and it was quite quiet. we were after something sweet, so ordered some pancakes which came out wonderfully colourful! the chai latte was very nice too, just sweet enough. will definitely come back, as I'm keen to try something more on the meal side of their menu.

This modern fusion Vietnamese eatery is housed in an interesting industrial building. The tall ceilings gives it such great ambience. The food also has modern touches. I've had the Grandmother's special which is rice with a mixture of Chinese sausage, egg and pork floss. It was nice and reminded me of home cooking. Their baguette rolls are also popular with the lunch time crowd. I was actually disappointed with the lack of filling inside my pork roll.

Prices here are a lot steeper than other Vietnamese restaurants but then again they are catering for the office workers around the area. If you're looking for traditional Vietnamese cuisine then look elsewhere
