Not worth it.

I am not sure why the reviews are so high up, but the food was below average. Starters and snack were poor, not pleasant and clearly reheated or fried. Tartar was chewy. Mash potato was served with so much burned butter on top and it was terrible. Potatoes were chunky, not silky as it supposed to be. I tasted it and sent it back. They even charged me at the end which was surprisingly wrong but i didn't say anything. Duck was fine.

Its a new restaurant with good service and kind staff, but poor...

I really really wanted Le Rooftop to be good, but it just wasn’t. The $15 Xiao Long Bao were literally the $8.99 soup dumplings from Aldi. Mongolian lamb and the fried rice were really not good. That said, the kingfish ceviche and the cucumber salad were really nice - just expensive for what they are/sizing. Prawn toast was good but very oily. I am hopeful that Le Rooftop will get better after a few weeks / months of service. Should say that we finished everything, so it wasn’t inedible, it just was a...

Still some things to work out such as the impossibly small typeface size on the wine menu! An extensive alcohol menu but the staff were not yet up to speed with wine styles, pairings and serving. The food menu was confusing, it was unclear what were entrees and what were main courses. Not an inspiring selection to choose from. We had a fish dish and the Mongolian Beef. Both were very bland, lacking depth of flavour and spice. I hope they...
