Title: A Delightful Culinary Journey!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review:
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sinjeon Korean Restaurant and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I was captivated by its beautiful ambiance. Every corner of the place exuded a charming Korean atmosphere that added to the overall appeal.
Now onto the star of the show - the food! Sinjeon's fried chicken amazed and delighted my taste buds like no other. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while being deliciously tender on the inside, creating an incredible mouthwatering experience. The flavors were simply out of this world. Options ranging from spicy to honey-glazed catered to every palate, leaving me craving more even after finishing my meal.
In addition to the fried chicken, I had the pleasure of sampling their kimbap and topokki. The kimbap was beautifully presented and packed with flavorful ingredients. Whether it was the classic vegetable-filled kimbap or the more adventurous seafood options, each bite was a delicious treat. And let's not forget about the heavenly topokki - the sticky rice cakes immersed in a mouthwatering spicy sauce were absolutely addictive.
From the moment I placed my order to the moment my dishes arrived, the staff at Sinjeon Korean Restaurant provided impeccable service. They were attentive, friendly, and ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
With its striking decor, delectable fried chicken, flavorful kimbap, and addictive topokki, Sinjeon Korean Restaurant is a must-visit for food enthusiasts and those seeking a delightful culinary adventure. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to indulge in the finest Korean cuisine.
Thank you, Sinjeon Korean Restaurant, for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to return and try more of your amazing dishes!

Read moreWaited to have the dine in experience as well before doing this review as we had to get takeaway the first time. First of all, there are lines all the time and they close surprisingly early at 9pm. One thing I did notice is that they turned away people already waiting in the line as they said last orders were 8:30pm. We didn’t wait long before we had to resort to takeaway but I did feel for those in front of us who had been waiting longer without knowing they weren’t going to dine that day. The waiting list needs to be better managed or automated.
Onto the food. The fried chicken is well priced for the amount you get but it was pretty hard to chew through and let’s be honest, we’re not going there for fried chicken. The tteokbokki which is the actual reason to go to Sinjeon was a disappointment - there was so little rice cakes in it and honestly you can get better flavoured kit tteokbokki for home at the grocery store. We opted for the corn cheese topping and whilst it was a generous amount, it made the whole dish so sweet and with so little rice cake or vegetables you’re basically eating cheese, corn and tteokbokki soup. The kimchi kimbab was also so full of cheese that there was no kimchi fried rice flavour coming out - it wasn’t balanced at all. I did like the budae ramyun but was any of this worth the 30-40 minute wait?...

The rose tteokbokki! 🔥 A 9pm close time which is pretty reasonable. 🩷
The location is on the Main Street of Liverpool Street there is not a lot of parking. I would recommend to catch public transport as it's only a 10 min walk away from town hall station or a few min walk from Museum station, I would advise you to check street parking for availablities.
🚶I would highly recommend walking from any public transport area as it’s super hard to find parking. If you don’t drive the closest trains would be Museum station or town hall tram stop.
I ordered the rose topoki, spam and egg kimbap also 2x calpis cans. It's pretty affordable for the city!💰
The rose topokki was super tasty! 10/10 The spam egg Kimbap was so moist and flavourful! 10/10
They have both dine in and take out option, there isnt alot of seating area! They don't do bookings so make sure you go when it's not too busy.
Overall experience is 10/10
