Read moreWorst experience ever. Date: Sunday, 21st January 2018 Time: 6:15pm Location: Mama's Wok Rhodes What happened: We were excited to have dinner for the second time in Rhodes as our first time eating there was good (food was great, customer service is a fail). Our toddler was very hungry so we quickly ordered our meal. They gave us plastic cups and a plate for our daughter which was oily. we asked for it to be replaced only to see that it still had some oil residue. We ended up just using the standard dinner plate. We ended up waiting 27 minutes and wondered why our food has not arrived yet. we followed up and the manager dismissed it until I asked to follow up the second time. It was then discovered that our order was not placed with the kitchen. By this time, our toddler was crying heavily and screaming as she was very hungry. It was already way passed her dinner time. The manager, instead of apologising, offered a complimentary drink to which I replied: "That's not going to satisfy my daughter's hunger". The manager simply shrugged it off and said he can only offer a drink. They took our order again and we waited again whilst feeding our daughter fruits that we bought from coles. 16 minutes has passed and still no food. we again followed up, but did not get a proper response. We just walked out and quickly went to Lok Lok dimsum near the cinema. Lok Lok was VERY accommodating and catered to all of our requests, even asking for extra mushrooms with veggies which our daughter loves.

Read more2.1 - Careful. Fake Ratings offering drinks for 5 Star Review!! Waited long time to be rudely pointed at by one waitress warning me not to move up the line to get a table until she had finished at the register with this man's order! (But others allowed to walk in!). Need training in Customer Service and Experience. Once seated, took 10 minutes to wave someone down to take an order - seat pushed around by waitstaff not aware of their surroundings and not very switched on. Food used to be average but large portions. However, portions have reduced so value much less. Won't be coming again - am sure quality of ingredients is poor too. Unfortunate as it started off well.
Previously: Been here lots as a sole diner, with friends and relatives. In Summary: Large portions, but mediocre food. Leans on Oily/Greasy side. Avoid the duck noodle soup - they give you terrible cuts (Li's Kitchen is better for that). The Steamed Vegetable Bean Curd Wraps were okay but is now reduced to two and very salty. Congee was average, stir duck noodles were nothing like in the menu photos (oily, salty, preserved vegetables), seafood tofu soup average, but herbal jelly dessert delicious! Recently tried their lunch specials for Beef Brisket Noodle Soup - it is so small, I was disappointed and still hungry after eating it. It comes with a corn soup, which is just a tiny thickened bland bit of fluid. Singapore Noodles left a lot to be desired. 👎👎👎 Watch your change if paying in cash - often missing coins. There's much better taste elsewhere but it's convenient to...
