This is how this restaurant operates: book as many guests as possible on a Fri/Sat night, reserve tables into allocated 1.5-2hr timeslots, make sure you serve as much foods/drinks during that time to get the most out of guests and if they haven’t finished their meals when the time is up, you just proceed to kick them out by getting the restaurant manager to stand right next to their table until the guests get up to pay and leave. If you’re looking to relax and enjoy a meal out with family and friends, this place is not it. I’ve dined at this restaurant twice now and both times it was the same approach. We got kicked out both times! I don't usually write reviews online but this restaurant has well and truly earned it. I booked a dinner reservation online one month in advance. A couple of days before the dinner I received an email advising me that my reservation had been cancelled and that I had to call the restaurant to find out why. I called and a very rude worker told me he was busy and he didn’t have time to look at the bookings then so he asked me to call back after an hour or so. I thought they’re acting like they’re the only restaurant in Sydney but as I didn’t have time to look into other options, I decided to pursue my original booking. I called later and after a very time consuming phone call for something so simple as booking a table he was finally able to accommodate us by changing our dinner time so that it fitted the restaurant’s allocated timeslot. On the day of our booking, one of our friends couldn’t make it so this triggered a major table reshuffle for the restaurant since it gained one whole extra seat for them to capitalise on! 😂A good 15mins was lost in the process of being moved from one table to the next but this time lost didn’t extend our allocated timeslot. We were rushed to order, rushed to finish our meals, rushed to order dessert even, despite being very close to the end of our booking time (but for some reason time running out didn’t matter as long as we ordered more) and when we didn’t finish our hot teas on time, the restaurant manager came around to ask us to leave and he didn’t move from our table until we all got up and left with our drinks unfinished. There were no apologies, no questions asked. Simply a ‘get out now attitude’ which made us all feel very uncomfortable and overall appalled at the service we received. I will not be dining here ever again, a second chance was more than enough. I would...

Review is for Primi level one. Since it is owned by Primi, I will leave the review here. Primi level one has a $20 Monday special. They have about 6 items, that include, fish and chips, two types of pizza, pasta, schnitzel and chargrilled chicken.

We navigated to Primi level one and once we found it, we were unsure if this was the right place, because their restaurant looked like a conference room.

My partner and I ordered our meals. They were the chargrilled chicken and penne pasta.

The chargrilled chicken was a whole chicken breast, that was boiled or poached and then perhaps pan seared for a minute. It had no flavour whatsoever and was pink in some places. This chicken was awful, it was rubbery, bland and inedible. When something is chargrilled you’d expect those gorgeous chargrill lines. This was slop served on a plate. Thinking about it the next day, angers me. You cannot call something chargrilled and then offer an undercooked boiled piece of chicken, in its place. I felt like I was in a hospital, being served my hospital meal. At least in the hospital this meal would be bulkbilled and free.

On a positive note the mashed potatoes were delicious, they were buttery and had no lumps, with just the right amount of seasoning. Their salad was a concoction of 2 halves of a cherry tomato, 2 slices of onion and the mesclun salad mix. The meal was underwhelming and bad. Mushroom sauce was good.

The pasta was a little better, but had no real depth in the sauce, it was all heat. An arrabbiata is to have flavours of the richness of the tomatoes, hint of herbs, garlic and some heat. It unfortunately only had heat. The pasta was cooked al dente.

Overall I would definitely not recommend the food at Primi level one. Please, fix your chicken. Cut the chicken in half, marinate the chicken and then chargrill it. I guarantee it would taste two million times better than the slop I was served. I literally paid - $20 to eat a portion of mashed potatoes with...

An italian restaurant worth going for, the 3k+ reviews maintaing their 4stars and above is no joke.

Despite a heavy number of people dining, our orders came suprisingly quickly, what usually would be an easily 45 mins wait in other restaurants would only take them a mere 10-20 mins!!! However even while being fast the quality of the dining experience doesn't lack much. At most would be little pizza crumbs on the couches but theyre hard to spot while youre attending 40+ customers.

Would definitely order their steak options, something about flavouring the steak with the "red" sauce really makes this meal unique and worthy for any meat lovers tastebuds. However the crab ravioli was the only disappointing factor in the whole experience but all great restaurants have a flaw.

The service is excellent if youve read til this far, one detail many restaurants dont do is that they make sure the table youre sitting at isnt packed to the brim! Especially as a food enjoyer and travelling with family you want to try everything! And often times with that youre met with a table packed with food and no room for any movement! This restaurant makes sure dishes are finished before sending more, making your dining experience much much more pleasant

The authentic italian cola was also a bit of a let down seeing it tasted the same as any coke bottle, despite that it was worth the experience of just holding and taking pictures of the bottle. However the non-alcholic cocktails arent too bad.

When we thought things wouldnt get better was when we tried the Chefs Special Dessert, it wasnt too sweet but the right amount to just make you want to eat more without feeling guilt of breaking your diet. It makes you want to finish your main courses, adjust your seat and finally grab a clean spoon and take a few seconds to just enjoy...

If you’re in Sydney and craving a genuine Italian experience, look no further than Primi Italian. We recently celebrated a birthday here, and from start to finish, the evening was flawless. The atmosphere is incredibly cosy, making it perfect for intimate gatherings or celebrations. It feels like you’re in a little corner of Italy, with the warm lighting, rustic decor, and the buzz of happy conversations around you. When it comes to the food, Primi Italian doesn’t disappoint. Every dish was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and that unmistakable homemade touch. Whether you’re indulging in one of their classic pastas or trying something a little more adventurous, every bite was delicious. Perfectly balanced seasoning, quality ingredients, and flawless preparation – they nailed it. We were also beyond impressed by our waitstaff, Muku and Boo. They were attentive, friendly, and knew their menu inside and out. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and warm, but they managed to make us feel like we were the only table in the room. As for the price, it was fantastic! You get high-end Italian food without the hefty price tag that often comes with it in Sydney. Incredible value for the experience and quality of food you get. Overall, Primi Italian made our birthday celebration special in every way. From the atmosphere to the food to the impeccable service, it’s a gem. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic, cosy, and delicious Italian dining experience in Sydney. We’ll definitely be back
