100000% must go to. If I lived in Sydney I’d be a regular. Well traveled early 30’s couple from nyc, and I’ve never met friendlier and passionate staff.

The cocktails are truly out of this world, unique and the staff whips up such fun things! We also enjoyed tasting all their small custom batch mezcals and every single staff member was so educated, fun, passionate, lively and truly got to know everyone in the place. Fantastic experience!

I recommend going early when they open if you prefer less crowded experiences.

I also want to note I’ve never seen such a trendy place be so welcoming to all who came in. It’s small so you can really see and hear a lot of the interactions and walking from the alley way you’re greeted with a wave and smile no matter your age, appearance, what you’re wearing etc it was very clear they were kind to every single person and showed the same enthusiasm and hospitality which is extremely rare for a trendy bar!! Watching the staff was really amazing and honestly put the biggest smile to my face because I know I’d be able to enjoy this spot alllllll the time but also bring my mom when she visits or whoever and not have to worry about getting in or being treated poorly. Literally, take all my money! Kindness and passion is rare these days.

Bravo and did I mention the drinks are out of this world!!! Definetly do some tastings as well, everything they serve has a...

Hands down best bar in Sydney. I’m gutted I’d not been before. My husband and I visited on Wednesday with a Mexican friend who lives out of town. Greeted by Chris and served by 2 other delightful fellows the names of which I’m sad to have forgotten-the bar was great, cool and down a little alley with a banging vibe at 11ish on a Wednesday (unusual for Sydney!). We stood right at the front door, me very grateful for the mega mushroom heater keeping me comfy and right from the get go had world class/super informed/wonderfully delivered service from Chris in terms of offerings and suggestions. Their play on the spicy marg (that everyone does poorly) was spectacular-I could have had 5. Chris took the time to write the cocktail special of the week in great pictorial detail on the back of a coaster, explaining infusions and leaves and all kinds of great details. We had many lovely tequilas to simply sip and enjoy and so many options across smoky/mezcal to satisfy me personally. The passion is truly there all over and so are the options and the quaintness of the refurb and of course that incredible ice crushing machine. Given 3 stars in the food section because apart from super yummy spicy corn hip thingys I don’t think there is food-but that was enough to keep us going. Other than that trivial details we Adored every minute and will be coming back again and again and super glad I work 400m...

Extraordinary Mezcal bar, proving size does not matter !! Their delightful mezcals, cocktails and skilful bar tenders namely- Ryan, Storm, Antaea and Tejendra make up for the small bar size( unless it’s strategically planned that way!😊) or the inconspicuous location, tucked in a corner of a back street. Unusual ambiance with a heap or red candles lighted and collected wax underneath. The staff makes you feel very welcome and befriend you in minutes with their expertise, the history of mezcal extraction and their precise preparations. Very very hospitable and passionate about their job. We had a great time with Tejender and Antaea especially so after we were the only guests left on a very late night last week. Ny husband tried and loved THE RED SPIDER and THE ROCKY ROAD. I tried sour cocktails on both my visits and absolutely loved the balance of taste👌neither too much alcohol, nor was the fruit overpowering. The old school ice shaver is fascinating and adds to the intrigue and drama as they prepare the drink. We were ushered in after a brief wait in a line up and were pleasantly surprised. Wish it was in my country too but a pity that I was just visiting Sydney and stumbled upon this gem. If you are a Mezcal/ cocktail lover, you’re missing an excellent experience if you don’t find this place. Do yourself a...
