Food we ordered: 🍔Charsiu Pulled Pork Benedict 🐟Grilled Tasmamian Salmon 🍚Omurice 🍝Fettuccine Boscaiola 🥤Iced chocolate 🫕Sticky chai latte ☕️Cappuchino 🍵Hojicha latte
Interior: lighting is good, industrial style, nice contract color such as the table color with the coffee cup. They have table outside but it can be too cold in Winter.
Food: Charsiu pork with eggs benedict: egg benedict cooked well, still soft and runny. You can see the bun in the photo, it looks like it was punched by someone 😅. The bun is not easy to cut, there is a layer of pickle on top of the bread. When you cut this food, it would fall everywhere 🤔 it tastes ok. I like Omurice and Fettuccine Boscaiola, they brings nostalgia. The size of the dish was good. Salmon dish has a good presentation. However, the Salmon wasn't really fresh, maybe just one day thing.
Drinks: they were good. Coffee tastes good and consistent. We order 2nd coffee and it still tastes good.
I would come back to try more food and drinks of this cafe. Especially for...
Read moreIf there is one thing I cannot abide it is false advertising! The sign out the front (see picture) was the cincher. Eggs, your way, on sourdough, “cultured butter”. Well I’ve had cultured butter before and it was delicious and these ingredients are conducive to my diet which for health reasons must be low in Omega 6’s. There was also the “Come in we’re awesome” sign. Very inviting! When I ordered I specifically asked for the “eggs, poached, on sourdough, the one with the cultured butter.” It turned up with Lurpak!!! Now let’s get this clear: Lurpak is NOT butter! It is made with 64% butter and includes canola oil and rapeseed oil both of which are high in Omega 6’s and are not good for anyone with heart disease. Not good, in fact, for a healthy diet for anyone! If Lurpak is the only “butter we’ve got at the moment” (as I was told) then by all means advertise Lurpak, or, at least, get a black text-a and redact your signage (menus) so that you are not...
Read moreFirst time I went was with a friend for brunch. The food was good but the mocktails we ordered were honestly pretty disappointing. We ordered one red hot lips and two blue lemonades. One of the blue lemonades was actually really lacking in syrup but thankfully they remade the drink. Keep in mind the drink itself is not that great and overpriced. My second experience was ordering a takeaway chai latte. The signage said a regular was 4.50 and a large was something like 4.80. I was charged $5 for a regular chai latte(not including card surcharge). I thought oh well maybe the chai latte is somehow more expensive than a coffee. But this chai latte was the worst I have ever tasted. The ratio of chai and milk was all wrong, it tasted like I was just drinking milk with a hint of chai and the milk wasn't even nice. Left a sour aftertaste. Needless to say, I threw it out. There are just much better cafes to try in Chatswood, you're not missing...
