The Souvlaki is a waste of money and total disappointment:( Was looking forward to a delicious wrap at the Greek Souvlaki stall, But it’s the worst I’ve had in every aspect. The vegetarian is mostly made up of onions not that I don’t eat onions. Even if I do the majority of the vegetables are onions?! For 13 bucks it’s just a scam. I was pretty upset having it. How can you do business like this? I don’t know what’s worse
Not too long after leaving the stall, I only opened the wrapping foil slightly Before the whole foil wrap fell apart In 2 halves - Are they trying to save money on the wrapping paper? It doesn’t even wrap up anything. And with a Souvlaki wrap it is a disaster. All the food started falling out bit by bit on the way home. Absolute total disaster. The sauce and food kept falling on me....

We have market here on Thursdays and Fridays. In the past years , we have fruits like Cherries , Plums comes from "Young" . The Best Lychees grown locally by Australian Farmers in Brisbane , it is the most delicious fruits i have eaten ,too from our Local Farmers . But this year the people who sells the Cherries from "Young" were not there anymore . Hopefully i can still see them bringing fresh Fruits, Nuts and Veggies back next year & all the customers, will be happy to try it too like me They also sells Squid Noodles , Glozame, Pallel, Beef Jerky, Cherrizo. Sugar Cane Water , Nuts, Tarts, Korean Fish Cakes , Dumplings and plenty more things to eat and most of all a Music Corner too for the kids to dance . Come check it out . My first time visiting the market on a Friday night. Variety of food options - Malay, Chinese (roasted chestnut), Korean snack (sweet savoury pancake, corndog, fish cake), Japanese (chicken curry, tako yaki, okonomiyaki), Greek, Spanish paella wood fired Italian pizza, Taiwanese (small moon cake looking deserts?) vendors. Some vendors had their signs only in Chinese and couldn't tell what they were selling. Prices range anywhere from $4 to $14 and more.

There were other vendors selling potted plants, hats, clothing, etc. I spent about an hour or so trying out different vendors. Some vendors, once you order, they give you a ticket and tell you to come back in 10 minutes. Some vendors the wait can be 20 minutes depending on the...

Victoria Avenue Mall Market Chatswood Review on 18/4/2024 The market is held on every Thursday and Friday, featuring food and craft stalls, and live music. It's late morning, the sun is shining brightly and the temperature mild. However, the Mall is very quiet and the foot traffic light. The music tent is empty; no musicians are in sight. There are many Asian food stalls, including Malaysian, Korean, Indian, etc. Mors cuisines from every corner of the globe – African goat burgers to Turkish gozleme, woodfire pizza, pancake and Teppanyaki-style squid noodles, and more are also on sale. Besides food stalls, there are stalls selling tea (leaves), dress jewelry, ornaments, too.

Saw that the HK street food and dessert store has freshly made mochi here! You can get sesame and peanut mochi mix for $9. There are about 10 pieces. Unfortunately it was a bit too big in pieces, would have been great if it was halved. The sesame and peanut mix is not sweet and makes sense that they state on their sign to request for sweeter mochi mix. It definitely is a nostalgic food that I enjoyed from Asia but I probably wouldn’t be back to get more.
