I went to the store to order a takeout of a pork soup. After placing my order, I went next door to shop at the supermarket and returned to the store's pickup area shortly after. To my dismay, I noticed other customers who had ordered after me were already receiving their meals and dining while I stood in the store for approximately 15 minutes, watching the staff chatting among themselves. It wasn't until about 20 minutes after I placed my order that I finally approached one of the staff members and asked if my meal was ready. Initially, the staff member replied that it would be a little while. I provided her with my order number and requested her to check with the kitchen. She seemed reluctant to inquire, but eventually did so. It was then that I learned that my meal had not even been prepared in the kitchen. I stood in front of the store for a total of at least 20 minutes. While waiting, I observed through the pickup window in the kitchen that the chef was handling the prepared food without wearing gloves. He used his ungloved hands to transfer food that had fallen on the table back onto customers' plates, and this happened more than once.
After this experience of waiting and witnessing hygiene issues, even though I enjoy the food at this establishment, I will choose to dine at other places in the future. Both customer service and hygiene are important factors for me when deciding...

Back in Chatswood after a while and had to hit up my favourite Korean spot. Still slinging out comfort food from lemon grove food court, don't be fooled by its humble appearance as the quality and quantity here is elite.
Can't go wrong with any of their dishes but the soups and fried chicken are my personal favourites. Probably the only downside with PBS is the tables are too small for all the dishes

Read moreAs I was walking by I noticed a lot of people lining up to order food. The lunch time rush. Thought it would be a good idea to try something new. The prices were very reasonable and they had a large choice of food options. Service was very quick and the food was cooked well. We ordered the chicken and rice. Chicken was crunchy and slightly on the dry side and the rice was cooked well it also had pickled radish and a very plain leaf salad with mayo. The next meal was the chicken hot stone bibimbap. It was presented very nice with a few side dishes. The flavour of the bibimbap was ok, but i found it a little on the bland side. The last meal was the Bulgogi soup. This was very disappointing. I was expecting a delicious soup which was shown in a photo on the menu but instead I received a soup which looked like dirty water. It seems as if they cooked the raw meat in the same water/broth they served. They didn't 1st blanch the meat and remove to blood and scum from the soup. The bulgogi soup came with rice...
