As someone who normally doesn’t like fish, I was shocked I drank three bowls of fish soup — it’s that fresh and not fishy at all! The signature Blue Cod hot stone soup is a must-order — light, clean, and naturally sweet from long-simmered fish bones.

Everything else we ordered was equally impressive: fish & chive dumplings were super springy and flavorful, chili chicken wings were spicy and addictive, the cereal prawns were huge and crispy, and the wooden bucket rice was comforting and packed with toppings. Portion sizes are very generous and prices are super reasonable. Perfect for solo diners or large groups — there are private rooms upstairs too. The staff were busy but friendly, and location is convenient with street parking or Chase shopping centre nearby. Definitely worth a visit — I’ve already been twice and would...

Would not recommend!!

Food wasn’t bad but it was very VERY mediocre. I came when I saw the high reviews but this place does not deserve it.

The food was edible but wasn’t very enjoyable, especially for the price. I came after seeing the $60 spicy fish and was left severely disappointed. It had lots of spice shown on the picture but it was not spicy enough when actually eating. The fish did not feel fresh and had lots of bones without a lot of meat. The bowl looks big but does not actually have a lot of food.

The other dishes were alright but none that I would eat more than one bite. Save your money and happiness and do not be blinded by the rating to be disappointed like me. Go to another shop.

Would definitely...

Was hesitant to try this place at first but ended up going a few times now. I really love Hainanese chicken and only a few restaurants in Sydney can do justice to an authentic taste. Although impossible for me to try everything on their menu but my favourites are Hainanese chicken, spicy beef and tofu, sausage wrapped in beancurd, any of their rice dishes. It’s around 10-min walk from the station but I say it’s worth to try. This place is alongside the famous Manpuku Ramen down Victoria Avenue. Price is very reasonable and dishes are in big servings. Lucky I live close by so I can go anytime I’m craving....

Opened in May 2025. First visit - walk-in, party of 3. Excellent first impressions and will return. Beer and limited wine selection on offer. Fortunately, BYO @ $5 per bottle. Very visual menu. We tried a range of excellent signature dishes. All very yummy. Limited dessert menu. Excellent, friendly service. Busy 6-8pm although we were lucky, walking in at 7.15pm. Thank you to Adie and her colleagues. Food was about $31 pp plus 0.67L Chinese beer and wine corkage. A super, good value, new eatery in Chatswood. Happy customer.
