As someone who normally doesn’t like fish, I was shocked I drank three bowls of fish soup — it’s that fresh and not fishy at all! The signature Blue Cod hot stone soup is a must-order — light, clean, and naturally sweet from long-simmered fish bones.
Everything else we ordered was equally impressive: fish & chive dumplings were super springy and flavorful, chili chicken wings were spicy and addictive, the cereal prawns were huge and crispy, and the wooden bucket rice was comforting and packed with toppings. Although impossible for me to try everything on their menu but my favourites are Hainanese chicken, spicy beef and tofu, sausage wrapped in beancurd, any of their rice dishes. It’s around 10-min walk from the station but I say it’s worth to try. This place is alongside the famous Manpuku Ramen down Victoria Avenue. Price is very reasonable and dishes are in big servings. Lucky I live close by so I can go anytime I’m craving....
