Sushi Hub Castle Hill — Restaurant in Sydney

This is by far the BEST sushi in the hills district, and the long queue of people waiting patiently to buy their amazing sushi is testament to this fact!!! I can’t count how many times I’ve been here and I have never once had a bad experience!! It is always super super fresh as they have such a high turnover of product that it’s sometimes still warm! Yummy!!!

The staff are professional even though they are more often than not extremely busy! They always take the time to be friendly and ensure you are a happy customer! If you have to wait for something to be made fresh they apologise profusely for the fact.

I truly doubt the validity of anyone who has given this place a bad rating. Probably the opposition! I mean if you’re complaining about having to wait in a queue I guess it’s because everyone wants some great sushi and got there before you did.

The other reviewer whose comment is that the sushi is “awful white rice with zero flavourings and bits of fish’......, I mean hello!, what did you expect? It’s sushi!!! Awful white rice? They do have the brown rice mate, try that next time, and maybe get something with veg if you don’t like the fish, but leave a more constructive comment so that people can make up their minds based on your honesty and not your sarcastic wit!

The prices are good value for the fantastic quality of the sushi so just do it! You know you want to!!!! Yummy sushi...

Normally i love this place. However, the recent experience on Saturday 4 August 2018 i had was extremely disappointing. I had ordered a sushi platter to have on the morning of my wedding while getting ready. A Staff member assisted me by completing the order form. I am allergic to shell fish and told them to put no shell fish in the platter. A family member picked up the platter on the morning of the wedding and i discovered that they had put ONLY SHELL FISH in the platter. My bridal party called the store to tell them of the error and they argued back that we had requested only shell fish. It was pointed out why would we request something I am allergic to. The male employee argued and was extremely difficult to arrange a replacement and was of little help. One of my bridesmaids was made to go into the store to speak to them after talking to them on the phone and they were still arguing with her about it. It was clear a staff member wrote on the order form and put a cross next to all shell fish. This has definitely put me off Sushi Hub...

I’m writing this review from my husband’s account. I have bought veggie sushi from Sushi Hub Castle Towers but on Thursday, around 4.30pm, bought the mini mixed sushi box ($8.50) which had cucumber, avocado, tuna and crab meat. Less than half hour later suffered really severe food poisoning and it was bad!. Spoke with my doctor and after describing my symptoms, he said it was definitely a case of really bad food poisoning and sent me an escript, just in case.
