I was really looking forward to enjoying açaí with my son on Sunday night, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The staff member serving us—Jess, who had long black hair and was on the larger side—got both of our orders wrong. She didn’t repeat the order back to us, which likely led to the mistake. What was most surprising was how she presented my son’s acia, especially when she added the kataifi—it looked careless and unappetizing. It’s a shame, because we were excited about our visit. That was a first experience at thirsty monkey, but we won't be going back, as we are locals in Liverpool I'll just stick to purple parrot, staff are always friendly and there's always some new flavour to try. And no I don't own the business it's just good service and take accountability if the order wasn't repeated. Unlike some owners.

First of all shout-out to the lovely ladies at Liverpool who despite the chaos always deliver quality service and products. Tonight was no different. A 15 minute line may sound like a lot but it was absolutely worth it, despite being under the pump they still take their time to greet and chat while taking my order swiftly and efficiently. To the girls behind the machine, thank you and I really appreciate your warm hospitality each and every time I visit (every day). My açaì was absolutely unbeatable and here is the photo to boot. Cheers!

I’ve been to many Açai places and thirsty monkey been my fav. I was soo excited that they open one in Liverpool which is closer for me. But the last 3 times I’ve been recently was very disappointing. They literally leave the centre hollow. For the amount of money you’re paying for it you think they fill your bowl up properly. They did this 3 times in a row. They are also very tight on the sauce which you pay extra for. Don’t think I’ll be going back again. Plenty of other places to go where they ain’t stingy on sauce and açai.

The açai is good but not good enough when you’ve got the worst customer service and the tables, every single one of them were dirty with dried up god knows what. Another customer had to ask for the girl to clean the table which seemed to bother the young girl, she literally huffed and puffed at the idea of actually working. Same girl behind the counter had the audacity to tell me daughter “what do you want?. I don’t know, I really like the açai but I don’t know if I can handle that girl behind the counter.

Thank you for your reply, as the tables were right infront the of your shop I and many others would assume they’re the store’s responsibility. Also the young lady that works there needs to be retrained in customer service. Like I said your açai is one of the best I’ve tried and always enjoy it when I visit your store, but please have a word to the young lady there, it’s like she hates her life...

My friend and I were really excited to get Acai from Thirsty monkey because we heard the great reviews about it, but we were shocked with the service that we received from a staff member. At first it was great service until we asked if we were able to change the sauce on our order and add another acai, the staff member then rolled her eyes while telling us “i already put it through,” we asked her if it was possible to ask to change just the sauce and she then continued to roll her eyes, so we told her that it was fine because we didn’t want trouble her. Overall we hope that it was just a misunderstanding and don’t mean anything bad, just wanted to share...
