Gözleme King Liverpool — Restaurant in Sydney

Thursday, 7th November 2024- Asked whether they could squeeze the lemon onto the gozleme while it’s being cooked and was told, “we do not provide that service”. I explained to them I’m pregnant and that I cannot eat the cut lemons that have been left out due to bacteria/ listeria unless it’s been heated up. Although I even suggested nicely that I can even squeeze the lemon into the gozleme myself before they cook it, I still received the response, “we do not provide that service”. What service…? I’m doing the service myself… So I said, “i can’t eat the gozleme without lemon if you won’t let me squeeze it inside.” The server was so rude and responded, “yes” and walked away from me not interested in getting business from me. I was also the only customer there at the time so the store was not busy. I was so polite throughout the whole time and received this type of “service”. It’s a shame since I used to go to that store pre-pregnancy and not I’m no longer returning. They have lost a customer and I have told many people of this experience.

I went to the gozleme store at Rhodes yesterday as I had been craving it since and the service was so much nicer. Food was better too! Wish they were at Liverpool instead.

The server who was rude and did not care about the business at all was tanned skin, who might’ve been the manager? I would not hire her again. Making them lose business. She evidently does not care about her job or the business.

Ordered Gozleme big breakfast. I was so keen to try it everything was nice but they gave me avocado that wasn't ripe and was soild like rock tiny peices and tasted horrible had to spit it out and I find it wrong that they work making food and they don't know what is fresh or eatable to the person that works there and cut up the ingredients for the food you should quit because if you don't know if the food you are cutting up isn't eatable. Gozleme King at Westfield Liverpool is one of my go-to spots for a quick and tasty meal. The food is always fresh and made to order — I had the spinach and cheese gozleme, and it was delicious with a perfectly crispy texture.

What really stood out to me, though, was the staff. They’re incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Even during busy times, they serve with a smile and make you feel taken care of.
