After eating here 5 times now I've made this my go-to place for BBQ buffet. I've edited my review to reflect the experiences I've had.
Pretty reasonable price for a BBQ place. It has a decent selection of meats but the lamb alone is honestly plenty. I had about 30 - 40 skewers in the 2 hour allotted time and left very satisfied. Their chilli and cumin lamb skewers are delicious, I come back just for those alone.
The smoke is vented through the bottom of the charcoal so you don't have a massive exhaust pipe dangling above your head.
The rotating chain that spins your skewers are much better than the usual ones I've used; they actually work pretty well.
The hotpot is only good if you're alone or with 1 other person since you need to pay $5 extra per person. You get a split hotpot with spicy and regular chicken stock. You can ask the waiter for unlimited plates of good quality hotpot lamb.
Their side dishes are average and not the highlight of the foods available, but there's a pretty big selection. They have some very nice plum juice for free, or if you want soda (wouldn't really recommend it at a BBQ since you're eating so much fatty food) you can get unlimited drinks for $3.
Service couldn't be friendlier! Honestly quite literally the best service I've ever had. Overall a great experience. Would definitely come...
Read moreNo choices here - you're either in for a buffet or not. It was $63pp and all you can eat with a surprisingly large range of skewers with beef, pork, chicken and lamb with lamb being the best (don't forget to pick up some cumin salt to season them). There are specific offal cuts like aorta and giblet which is awesome. They cook on an autorotating grill on each table, you cook your own, the optimal group size seems to be 4. There is also seafood, baby octopus, garlic bread, corn, pineapple, prawns, etc, ready to cook. And for those in your party who like it already ready to go there is a fried section with prefried chips and dimsim, a stews, fried rice, and a salad section with seaweed and pigs ear. Finish off with fruit with a reasonable selection of fruit in offer. A couple of drinks are on offer, plum for one and passionfruit being another, not fresh but cold and unlimited. Automatic coffee machine as well if you need it. The variety is just great, you'll want to come hungry but patient enough to cook the skewers one by one. Really your main constraint is how many skewers you can fit which limits how much overall you can eat, a decent choice if you want a lot of skewers on...
Read moreIn all honesty, not a bad place to go to but not somewhere that evokes feeling of excitement for the next visit. We’re not against the idea of coming back in the future but it probably won’t be too soon.
For $65pp all you can eat, there is a lot of food on offer and the quality and variety of the skewers is quite good. The other food options were okay and not particularly delicious but not inedible either. Overall nothing spectacular and probably in line with what most people will expect for an all you can eat establishment.
The service from the staff is sufficient and the general atmosphere is satisfactory.
One major thing that stood out was how tired and worn the whole place looked and felt. Probably needs a do up in the not so distant future. Cleanliness is ok but in no way pristine.
One thing that is to be celebrated is their wide range of skewer options and the quality of the ingredients. This is very good and as such makes the whole experience worthwhile despite the other criticisms.
I would recommend people come here for the food and experience at least once but it is so far not a place I would consider...
