Bakers Delight Lakes Entrance Bakery — Restaurant in Victoria

I went to this place with my family for a quick grab and go breakfast, but was very disappointed with the customer service by this one old lady who worked there on Sunday (25/01/2025 ) in the morning. She was rude and did not know how to address customers. Saw her treats aussies very kindly but when it came to ethnic people she was rude and behaved as though we had no clue of what we were ordering. We have several bakers delight bakeries in metropolitan Melbourne and never experienced customer service such as the one in lakes entrance. I would really suggest you’s work on your customer service and learn to treat people with equality. Your customers are the reason why your shop is operating and you are employed so maybe learn to respect them and be polite.

Asked to warm a muffin for my 7 year old niece and they said we don’t do it here , when it gets done at all bakers delight.

Nothing wrong with a majority of their goods and services. However, I used to be an avid eater of the coconut finger buns, but have witnessed a decline in the amount of frosting used on the top of the bun. They really scimp out for only what I can assume as cost cutting measures as I’ve noticed this across all stores. It’s inedible now, just feels like you are eating a bread bun on its own, absolutely no flavour. I haven’t touched one in years for this reason but thought I’d leave a review. I doubt they’ll action anything...

I've always loved Bakers Delight bread and their other goodies. They never let me down. But I have to say as someone who can only access it through home delivery your store in Lakes Entrance is next level. Kind & courteous staff who are always prompt & professional in taking my order. And my delivery guy goes above and beyond with his drop offs. Always greets me with a smile & kind words. The goods arrive well packed in perfect condition and of course fresh and delicious. I cannot recommend this store enough, they deserve...
