Its actually worth 4.5. Walked past while headed to the Waxing Lounge so decided to return afterward. When I got there, no one around and little ready made. a Fujisan special and the hoso maki. The female at the counter wasn't the friendliest when I asked about the hoso maki but I was dying for some sushi. A cuisine I hadn't had in many months. I needed to wait 10 mins (didn't take that long) and yes there was a small surcharge for using a credit card ( there is a sign in plain sight warning of this) but I was not charged for the plastic bag. Hadn't asked for it. The young man who made my order was polite and helpful. Yes the decor needs a little spruicing up and simplifying to make it stand out from all the other sushi places in Geelong but the food is soooo good. Will definitely head back there on my next trip to Geelong in 12 months.

Long-standing restaurant with the best sushi in Geelong. The hand rolls are always fresh with soft rice and tasty fillings, made fresh throughout the day so they never sit in the cabinet for long. Customer service is excellent and the new management has only improved things. I recently ordered two small party platters SO YUM!! This is the only place I go for sushi in Geelong CBD.

The lady behind the counter has zero customer service skills firstly however that's wasn't the issue. I was firstly asked if I could pay cash (totaled to $9.20) when I replied "I dont have Cash" she told me its a minimum of $10 on card and if I wanted to buy a drink to get it over the $10...I replied with "no thanks" and just charge me the $10. She then had the face to charge me the $10 however added the surcharge of .35c on top??? Isn't the reason for the $10 min is to offset any credit card fee's and charges in the first place? Clearly avoiding the taxman and needs to be reported. After all that the food was below average anyway...Extremely...

Beware tax dodgers! Sushi take away food bill amounted to $22.50. Opened my wallet to pay and only had $50 notes that I didn't want to break so went to pay with eftpos card. Owner said I can't pay with eftpos because they don't take eftpos payments on Sundays. I said that's crazy, why do Sunday's make a difference for eftpos! Ahh ha, then it clicked...dodging the taxman. I said in that case sorry I won't be able to pay so please cancel the order and put Sushi back on shelf. Owner then said "you can pay cash, I saw your cash in...
