I just wanted to share my experience at Just Spice Indian grocery store today. I bought this Idli pot yesterday at 10:37 am. It was already assembled, only few things were not. When I got home, I opened it. The pot, it wasn't properly assembled as it needs to be like this if you want to make Idlis. It was such a complicated process for me. It wasn't even safe as it has a tiny screw. My son ( 4 year old) likes to cook with me. I has to think about his safety too and also things to do easily in my busy schedule. When I been today to return it /get groceries instead of this pot. I been told, there is no return policy for the utensils. I said, I never been told before I buy and also where it is written? I checked on the wall where I picked up the pot,it says no guarantee but the return policy wasn't there. The man at the cash register was polite and said I will check with my manager. I got more groceries to buy. Manager said to him , come tomorrow to return this and ask over the phone when did you buy this? He didn't directly talk to us. Me and my husband are surviving on one car, been to our works ( on and off), having children going to school, we don't have enough time to come again and return this. We came back home. It's been 15 years we been living in Australia and never happened to us before. I am really annoyed with this. What my understanding is, you can return the product with in 4 weeks. $55 is too much to loose and on top of that Waring time and money on fuel.

I am a frequent shopper at this store since I move to Geelong 3 months back and it was going well until, I purchase Nanak ghee from this store 2 weeks back and realised yesterday that the date was expired. I went there to talk to them saying that the ghee was expired and the reply I got from the store manager was ‘No, the ghee we have here all came in one stock and are dated until next year so, you did-not purchase from here’. Upon checking my membership, he found that the yes the ghee was purchased from there only. We did-not wanted to make it a big deal but when he said that, we were like yes we did purchase from there and the way it was answered made us really heartless. I have all the evidence and also the mark on the shelf says the ghee is $19.99 which for us cost $21.99. Please make sure you check the date before buying anything from here. Also, check whether the sales amount applies at the checkout as they have done several mistakes while checking out the items putting...

"Warning: avoid this store at all costs! The customer service is abysmal, with staff who are dismissive, condescending, and utterly unhelpful. I bought a shri khand that was rancid and moldy, and when I tried to return it, the elderly man at the front desk had the audacity to tell me it was my problem, not theirs. They refused to take responsibility for selling me a defective product and told me to deal with the manufacturer. Unbelievable!
