399 Small Bar — Restaurant in Western Australia

I love this bar. I am only in perth 2 nights a month and this place is close to my hotel so I started coming here. The staff are brilliant and I feel like a friend, not a customer because Stevie, Mason and Co are just amazing. Their experience, knowledge and attitude belies their age. I have seen Stevie deal magnificently with a customer who was obviously on drugs. She delt with it in such a professional manner and the guy was even impressed how she delt with it and apologised after being asked to leave. And she makes an awesome cocktail. Mason is the backbone of the bar. His knowledge of spirits and cocktails truly amazed me. I thought I knew a little bit about whiskeys but after talking to Mason I realised I knew nothing 🤣🤣 He has educated me in the ways of spirits. The staff make this place and Stevie is the most beautiful friendly soul and makes my day when her and Mason are on duty. Puts me in a great frame of mind before flying out to work. Thanks...

Love 399 so much - we love coming here for a drink as it is, but for functions the back room is such a good option! Have booked this a few times but most recently for my sisters hens party. Initially I was in contact with Elliott who was super helpful and got everything booked for me - just before the event I was in contact with Jaz and they could not have been more accommodating, seriously! From making sure all our dietary requirements were met, to helping with the music, decorations and connection to the TV, nothing was too much trouble. I was able to host a quiz on the TV so that was super fun! We had the gluten free pizzas brought in, they were so delicious and most guests couldn’t believe they were gluten free!...

The service is shocking and the management has zero customer service experience. I arrived for a friends birthday dinner and had not had a single drink before I arrived and was denied any alcohol service. I asked if there was a breatherlyzer test or some sort of confirmation to determine whether I had being drinking or not.pp They replied that they did not have any equipment to determine their opinion other than their experiences in the bar industry. I've never in over 30+ years felt so humiliated and embarrased at a bar and advise others or newbies in Perth to avoid this place. Terrible menu and unprofessional customer service. I give it zero reviews and expect they will not last...
