Haven't been here for years: Venue: Causal setting. Slightly packed as more tables. --- 7.3/10 Service: busy at rush hours. Order at table. Get tap water from the fridge and glasses at the front desk. Food served fast and faster than beverages. Pay at the cashier before leaving. --- 7/10 F&B: Causal presentation. Normal portion. Read moreWait 25 minutes for a bowl of Pho.
Maybe this is why this place is always crowded. Because their chefs cook like turtles????
Edit: Nice try blaming Covid for your problem. When I was there there was 7 full tables in at least 5 front staff running around (there were more in the kitchen).
Process wise, how could you take 25 minutes to prepare a bowl of Pho? All you need to do is putting noodles in a bowl, then putting in the meat and the herbs and pouring in the soup, all should have been partially prepared in advanced. That’s all, but it takes 25 minutes? Yeah right you’re not turtle, you’re slug.
I came in here with my grandparents who cannot speak English fluently so they tried asking the staff in Vietnamese but were responded in English. Such typical /// behavior.
Also, there are lots of negative comments about your staff issues and long wait time but you don’t seem to care? Maybe actually taking responsibility for once in your life?
Edit 2: You want to know how to run your process better? Maybe go to YouTube and search for “How to make Pho” and tell me how many of them videos are longer than 25 minutes?
Everywhere I eat, including Vietnamese restaurants in Vietnam, only takes maximum 15 minutes to make a bowl of Pho. Using your logic, their dishes should all have been “stone-cold” right?
You are struggling to hire staff maybe because they don’t want to work there?

Read moreThe owner of this restaurant really needs to train the staff. We visited this place on a Saturday lunchtime based on a friend’s recommendation. Since we had a 3-year-old child with us, the wait may have felt longer, but we had definitely waited for at least 20 minutes. During that time, guests who arrived after us had already started eating, while we were still waiting. The staff member who took our order saw us waiting the entire time, yet paid no attention. Eventually, we asked if our order had actually been placed. The first staff member we asked didn’t even apologize, and instead called over another staff member to check. That person asked for our table number and what we had ordered. When I asked if our order hadn’t been placed, they simply said yes — without any apology. I checked again with the original staff member who took our order, and they also confirmed it hadn’t been placed, again with no apology. Mistakes can happen, especially during busy hours — I understand that. But when a mistake is discovered, the very first thing you should do is apologize to the customer. Instead, the attitude of the staff felt like, “Yeah, we messed up. So what?” So we decided to leave without eating. As we were walking out, one of them mumbled a quiet “sorry” behind us. No matter how good the food here might be, we will...
