Bravo's Restaurant — Restaurant in Western Australia

Actually, I was putting a high expectation on this restaurant as there are many many good reviews online on multiple social media platforms. However, after tonight's visit that really makes me and all of my friends disappointed 😞.

First of all, we finished our ordering around 18:45 and we got our food at 20:10. As a good rating Restaurant, the meal servicing speed is seriously unprofessional. Not only the people came later than us got their food earlier than us, they've even finished and left and we are still waiting for our foods and drinks. HOW RIDICULOUS. To be honest, as a chef, I know exactly how long would take to preparing, cooking and servicing our orders. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL AGAIN!! I am not sure whether you are really short of kitchen staff or there are some problem with the chef's cooking process.

Secondly, not only we waited for a long time for our foods, we are also waiting our drinks as well. Checked with the waiting staff and the owner multiple times, and all we get is "will double check for you", "the next one is yours". But it turns out, our drink orders weren't put through. So, please tell me, what was the waiting staff and the owner checking as they didn't even put my drink orders through.

Thirdly, after a long wait for the Linguine we ordered which actually taste pretty good, but the pork belly and lamb shank are under average. The pork belly taste plain and flat with horrible texture. The lamb shank texture was not bad, soft and tender but only have tomato paste flavour, also plain as well. I have feeling that the chef does not know what they are doing.

Fourthly, the tiramisu taste good and not too sweet which makes me thinking that will save tonight experience. However, due to the previous experience, my friend left a disappointing review. When we at the counter paying the bills, the owner trying to start an argument with my friend regarding to his review that he wrote during our waiting for meals and drinks, which is about the long waiting and we haven't received any care service, and that really ruining our experience of this restaurant.

Went last night, learned the business changed hands less than a month ago and what a fall from grace. Used to have amazing food and service, but last night was an utter disappointment from arrival. After being seated, the same song was playing on repeat and cutting out halfway through until my partner went and asked them to please change the music. They kept the menu, I ordered my usual gnocchi neopolitana, what came out was not gnocchi, and definitely not neopolitana sauce, for starters that sauce is red, not brown. Second, the "gnocchi" was in huge chunks that I actually had to cut, normally you don't need a knife for gnocchi. The parmesan cheese was the only part that had any flavour. Honestly I didn't want to have to write a review but the chef they have now is the wrong chef and or way out of their depth. I can no longer call this place my favourite Italian restaurant, and even calling it Italian now would be a stretch. The staff and food is 10/10 wonderful! I am wheelchair bound and consequently I can have difficulty entering some places. While ordering dinner for takeaway I mentioned this to the staff member who immediately found a solution that would make collection easier for me. To save me the effort of transfering into my wheelchair, the manager organised staff to bring my order and eftpos payment directly to my car outside, and they did so with a big smile!

Assistance like this is unfortunately rare. Small acts of kindness such as this make an enormous difference to people like myself who have mobility deficits. This small effort meant I could get home to enjoy dinner quickly and without being tired from wheelchair transfers.
