Jamaica Blue Morley Galleria — Restaurant in Western Australia

Today my husband and I stopped for coffee and something to eat. Unfortunately the food was disgusting. I ordered the zucchini and feta fritters and my husband ordered flat bread with ham tomatoes and cheese. (How can such a basic filling be ruined and be made tasteless?) His food come out with dressed salad leaves on the side. My food come out and I was greeted with a mountain of slop on top of fritters (I'm assuming the white runny mess was supposed to be sour cream and the leaves on top) there is no indication I could see saying served with sour cream and salad. What about allergies? Do they not double check and ask since dairy allergies is 1 of the most common allergies, just in case there's a dairy issue? Not only that, I didn't get the bacon I asked if I wanted instead of mushrooms. Oh the coffee was good though. We didn't finish our coffee after the food fiasco as we lost all sense of chilling with a coffee and having a nice afternoon...

Visited Jamaica Blue for breakfast this morning with my mum! Ordered 2x cappuccinos, 1x avo hash and 1x lemon and sugar muffin. Coffee came 20 mins later, and the avo hash came 30 mins later, by the time our coffees were finished, despite reminding that we still have 2x other things pending. The avo hash was cold and flavourless. The bread seemed stale. Photo below. The lemon and sugar muffin, which they just had to take out of the counter and give, came 10 mins after the avo hash! The guy next to us, who came 5-7 min ago, received his coffee and breakfasted, way faster than our food name. Disgusting service! After requesting the Asian waitress that don’t worry, just give the muffin as a takeaway, she still came with the muffin plated. Despite telling her! Takeaway muffin came after 10 mins. So disappointed. Service made us feel unimportant, atmosphere was less than average and the food choices awful. I asked if a plant based option was available of anything and received a blank look, said maybe vegan? A dim light began to shine behind the eyes of the girl on the till, sha went out the back to ask and said yes they had a poached egg. I left rather than try to educate.
