McDonald's Wollongong Central II — Restaurant in Wollongong City Council

Reasonable experience here.

Fries were limp and not overly fresh but were acceptable enough to not bother sending them back as a hungry person with time constraints.

The price wasn't transparent. I thought I was paying $5.45 for a snack wrap happy meal but with no extras it somehow became $7.50 when I looked at the receipt. This change should have been confirmed by the staff member.

Too much sauce on the snack wrap for my liking. I wished I'd asked for no sauce.

There wasn't a lot of range advertised on the screens so unless you are up to date with their current menu it's difficult to gauge the full variety. I prefer to order at the counter rather than through a machine which means I'm limited to assuming that what I used to know about McDonald's is still true and what is visible on the screens above the counter while I'm there.

The guy at the counter was friendly and I wasn't waiting too long to be served.

Worst burger I have ever had at MacDonald's in Wollongong centre. The burger was the Aussie Angus burger. It was sloppy a tiny bit off beetroot hardly any lettuce. The burger was a mess the guts of the burger was outside the bun. I threw it away they killed it with the sauce and Mayo the guts was sliding out of the bun. Did not look like the picture advertised. The website says 0730 openings, but it doesn't open until 0800. One of the workers said it had changed, recently. With a web-based system surely those changes could have been amended, almost, immediately?
