Das Theo — Restaurant in Gemeinde Lech

The restaurant has great potential, with an exciting menu and a nice atmosphere. However, our experience was disappointing.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes in the lobby before being seated. When ordering, we specifically asked if two meals would be enough to share, and the waiter assured us that it would be. However, when the food arrived, it was clearly not sufficient.

Throughout our meal, no staff checked on us or asked if we needed anything. When we approached someone to order more food, we were told that the kitchen had already closed and only dessert was available.

Where to start. Pretentious food and service that doesn’t deliver. Service was average, forgot to bring water, had to ask for their attentions etc… As of the food, took the ramen. Noodles were over cooked but OK but what the heck with the toppings?!! I had beef for topping and was served a steak next to my ramen. That’s not a topping, that’s another dish. And it was super average. Maybe try less hard and cook simpler things that you can manage rather than going all pretentious on fusion cuisines you obviously...

We booked the table for 2, a couple of days in advance. Booking has been made and confirmed on thefork.at . At the booking day the cancellation email from Das Theo restaurant was received.
