Hotel Auriga Lech — Hotel in Gemeinde Lech

We have just come back from Auriga. It is really difficult to describe this place. We travel a lot and I always in a very careful way choose the place to stay. And it is important to me to find the best ski hotels. But Auriga is far the best place I have ever been since 30 years of my skiing in the Alps. There is hardly nothing to even find a small minus. The hotel is so beautifully designed, everything matches in the hotel. For sure there must be a perfect architect who designed the hotel. The location -is perfect, you can see ski piste from the window, it takes 2 minutes to get on foot to the cable car. Rooms are very cozy, well equipped and extremely clean (like the whole hotel). The SPA are is awesome, it is the first time I saw such a beautiful, perfect place to rest. The swimming pool – perfect, very big with fresh mountain water (22 m long). The sauna area – wow!!! – very modern, very clean, very fragrant. There are 4 kind of saunas, ice grotte, water path (with cold and warm water). But the architecture of the spa is jaw dropping. Great. The restaurant – like a Michelin star one. Tasty and with plenty of choice breakfast. The dinner – so so tasty, beautifully served. Waiters are well trained, professional. But the most astonishing in the hotel is the ski room. It is like from different planet, like a place in modern palace. It is even difficult to describe. Fantastic.

What is very important to highlight – is something that maybe I shall mention at the beginning. The owners. They are present in the hotel, they take care of you, they are very helpful. They make the grateful atmosphere and every guest fells like the most important one. The hospitality can be felt everywhere.

It is difficult to leave the place without a sorrow and strong desire to come back as soon as possible.

I am really impressed. It shall have 7 stars! Wonderful place, the best in Lech for sure. It is not my first stay in Arlberg area so I have comparison. It will be the only choice for me when...

Definitely the best hotel in Lech! A majestic place!

Service with a capital S, very cosy and super comfortable hotel.

It includes a huge sauna area, perfect for after hitting the slopes and a very big swimming pool.

The restaurant is top Notch and services very tasty dinners.

It’s a family hotel which also means the service as mentioned on a very high level. They also provide very good tips and advises where to ski.

Lastly the hotel includes a huge indoor garage which means your car is nicely protected from the snow and cold.

Lech is for me the best place to ski. It has the start of the White Ring, a lot of blue and red slopes and if you want to have something very special, you can go for “der langer zug”.

Once visit this place and skied here, you will know and understand and you will definitely come back. This place rocks….

We found the Auriga 5 years ago having being going to Lech for 12 years now. The whole team are extremely helpful and accommodating. Alexandra and Ingo the owners are most pleasant and always available in this family run very comfortable hotel. The food is always good and some years absolutely exceptional. Rooms are large, comfortable and traditional Austrian with a significant contemporary feel. Excellent pool and spa facilities that are never too busy. Very close to the town with the ski slopes less than 5 mins walk away. The bar area is large with very friendly staff always available to help while the restaurant has great views of the slopes while enjoying an excellent choice for breakfast. Rates while not cheap are good for what you get and we will return and I do recommend.
