Cozy small cafe in the corner of an old building with nice views to the river. We like to go there specially to drink the delicious ice coffee they make, if possible sitting on the terrace they have in the 2nd floor (if there is a place). Had a day trip to Graz and tried this gem of a cafe. We had an amazing experience. The traditional coffee was exceptional and the sweets and cakes were amazing. Our waitress was so incredibly friendly and attentive, which topped off a lovely experience. Highly recommend if visiting the city and want a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful...

Zur Touristenfalle verkommen? Wir hatten das Schwalbennest eigentlich positiv in Erinnerung. Mittlerweile setzt man wohl darauf, dass Kundschaft eh nur einmal kommt. Für Touristen hui - für Grazer pfui!? Konkret: Nach einer 3/4 Stunde verkündet die "Kellnerin" lachend, dass die Bestellung wohl verloren ging. Trotzdem dauert es nochmal 15 Min. bis dann endlich die Bestellung kommt. Dann allerdings falsch, mit dem Hinweis man solle doch die nicht vorhandene Speisekarte lesen: "bei uns ist Aperol gleich Schillerol" = Schwachsinn, vor allem wenn man bei der Bestellung noch explizit nach Aperol fragt! Beim Bezahlen mit Karte wird man erstmal einfach stehen gelassen und erst auf Nachfrage bekommt man vom "Chef" den Hinweis, dass Karte "heute" nicht geht und man gefälligst Bargeld immer dabei haben sollte. Wir bezahlen auf den Cent genau, gehen und kommen bestimmt NIE wieder. Schade, dass solch tolle Locations so verkommen. An der Teuerung liegts...
