Café Exchange — Restaurant in Vienna

One of the most atmospheric places to have a coffee in Vienna. As far as I understand, it’s located in an old post office building designed by Otto Wagner. The fact that it has been preserved in perfect condition only adds to its charm.

The staff is absolutely wonderful. They’ll tell you about the beans they have on hand and help you pick the perfect treat to go with your coffee. They also radiate charisma and kindness.

The coffee itself is delicious. There’s something for those who prefer simpler flavors, but also beans for those who love to experiment and discover new tastes.

Cafe Exchange is my absolute favorite cafe in Vienna! The owner and staff are friendly and passionate about their work. You can tell the level of detail and care behind everything - from the drinks and food to the atmosphere. They have a great selection of unique and tasty drinks, and fresh and light meals. Not to mention the BEST cheesecake! It’s located in a charming and bright repurposed post office with an open and airy seating area. It’s truly a special place, I highly recommend checking it out! A very cool and non-traditional spot for a coffee! The atmosphere is unique, and the friendly service makes the experience even better. They offer delicious homemade kombucha and limos, which are a great alternative to the usual drinks. The coffee was also excellent—rich and flavorful. Prices comparing to other places are very good.
