After thousands of restaurants and street food places, really not being a picky customer - was truly astonished by business model and personal attitude of this place, its waiters and managers. In some aspects overall feeling is that you are in hands of scammers (although the food was not so bad, rather average - just overpriced, but comment is not about that at all). First of all, we were provided with 2 different menus (one with pictures and approx 20% lower prices) and another - with no pictures and some prices higher than in 1st menu, and with some dishes of 1st menu not listed here at all. No explanation by the waiter what is the difference (event that we asked for several times), also no indication whatsoever that any additional charges (such as obligatory service charge, drinks surcharge, whatever) could / will be added to the bill. Secondly, waiter was extremely in hurry, as its house is on fire - expressly letting you know, that you as his client are must "cash-cow-to be milked dry as fast as possible"... While ordering, after each ordered dish the waiter tried to take back the menu, 4 times (to continue ordering) we had to physically "retrieve" the menu back.. The same continued during eating - the waiter without ask several times just tried to take away our dishes (not finished, some clearly in the process of eating), literally in seconds - after you stop moving fork or spoon to your moth... All that was summarized by scam (clearly not several accidental mistakes in a row), when we asked for the bill. At the beginning, we were requested to pay incorrect, not our bill (from completely different table, no dishes we ordered were on that bill, and of course significantly higher - above 100 Euros). When we noticed that and refused - another bill was brought (this time with correct / our dishes listed). However, instead of correct prices from the menu (with the pictures), dorada fish was priced as 24 euros (when on menu - it was 19.90), same was with calmars - 23.90 instead of 19.90. On top of that, totally out of the blue 10% surcharge "trinkgeld" was added on all the bill... When we requested to correct all that - answer came, that menu initially provided to us (order from which were accepted by waiter) was allegedly "incorrect", there is some another "correct" menu (where dorada fish dish does not exist at all), prices cannot be corrected in the bill. And "trinkgeld" sucharge (not indicated anywhere in the menus or elsewhere) can be removed from the bill IF we will pay in cash (not by card) - probably not to account the total sales income and to avoid paying taxes to the Austria State. Overall discussion was rude, management and waiters were switching from English to German each time when topic started to look unpleasant, etc. Shame, tourist tram at its worst - nothing more to add.

Had my WORST seafood experience here in Vienna. Vote with your future food choice if we want to discourage this kind of scammy business populating one of the most famous food markets in Vienna. We ordered a Branzino fish plate because the staff said they just got some fresh from yesterday. My boyfriend doesn’t eat seafood so besides that we just had two tap waters, and the waiter specifically confirmed that they sell tap water when we ordered the food/drinks. Well, the fish was alright but it came partly uncooked inside. After I showed the uncooked part to the waiter, he took it back and returned with the same dish (regrilled, I assume). Overall slightly too greasy but ok, I wasn’t too disappointed yet. When we wanted to pay, the waiter said they only take cash - even though on google map it clearly states that credit card payment is ok. Sure, so we get some cash from the nearby Billa and got a bill that charged 7 euros for two tap waters (saying they are bottled mineral water) and 3 euros for the tip (without consulting). We handed over the money too fast like two innocent idiots. But ok, I get it, tourists trap, you come here for the atmosphere and pay for overpriced mediocre food. nothing peculiar. I wouldn’t post this review if it’s not for the instant diarrhea 15 mins after I had the fish. HUGE. BAD. DIARRHEA. I come from a seaside town growing up with fish plates every dinner, and here I got a diarrhea from a random restaurant in naschmarkt. HOW. DARE. YOU. All in all, don’t come here. Save your money for something else. Maybe a schnitzel.

SCAM restaurant!!! We visited the restaurant on 11.05.2022 and our bill was 82.70€ but the waiter charged us 98€ Without saying anything. The extra money was not mentioned anywhere on the bill since tips should be mentioned in the receipt if any. We asked for an explanation, he said it’s service charge of 15% extra (if you calculate correctly, it’s actually 20% instead) as it is everywhere in Vienna and pretended to know no more English. In addition, the white fish and shrimp were not fresh! The shrimp fell in to pieces when touched. We already reported the case to the Police station near by and will continue to report to Bundesministerium as instructed by the policemen. Such dishonest restaurants shouldn’t exist. It really brings bad image to Vienna and Austrians, and also bad experience for tourists. Advice: Always check your bill before paying!!!

Food is delicious. No comments about the food. But the service is the one which needs to be taken care of. They are trying to add up and make sure we pay at least 100 euro per meal. We just wanted to taste sea food and when entering he treated us like a customer. The old man wanted us to take a combo which cost around 69 euro. We just wanted to taste and informed him to give us something to taste and we are not here for the meal. We clearly mentioned that our budget for tasting is just 20 euro. Hearing that he started treating us like beggers. He started keeping on insisting us that by adding so many add-ons. We mentioned no to all and escaped. If you keep on adding you will end up paying 100 euro. Be aware and make sure what to order.

Note to the owner: Being in a tourist spot try to value all customers equally not based on orders. We always have the return back to the place where we find the food is good. But not to your place even after...
