Prime Argentinian Steakhouse — Restaurant in Vienna

This place is a complete rip off! We ordered 600gr of T-bone and they gave us no more than 400gr and we had to pay for 600gr. The meat was too hard to chew typical of frozen meat. You can't expect fresh meat with an extensive menu that comes from Schnitzel, beef, pork, chicken, all kinds of sea food and fish to pastas and burgers. The waiters keep smoking outside the restaurant at the entrance and when the food is ready they come inside to get your food and bring it to your table, a total lack of hygiene and respect for people having their meals. As they don't wear any uniform is very easy to cover what they're doing if you don't really pay attention who is smoking outside. When we complained about the meat they start to become very rude and said they couldn't do anything about it. Then we ordered a bottle of water that came in an old bottle clearly re-filled with tap water and used many times already opened filled to over its limit on the neck, sold as premium water at the menu. we tried to complain but at this point they were already ignoring us as they realised we spot what they actually do to all the customers that comes there for the first time. The table beside us were complaining about the extra charge on their bill while we were eating and by this point we knew something was really wrong. Our bill was hard to believe! The total costs 92€ plus 28% service charge???? Total 118€. I am sorry but 28% service charge in Austria is ridiculous! I read many reviews of this place and apparently they do this to most of people. We paid and left this place with a horrible sensation of being fooled and our night out torned apart. I hope this review can help eaters going out to have a good time to avoid this place and avoid being ripped off by them. It is with no doubt the worst...

The highlight of my trip to Vienna was eating at this delightful restaurant. I had been unsure as to where I should eat, however, it was difficult not to check the menu as I wandered past and saw the wonderful dinners being served to so many smiling customers. The staff made me feel very welcome as I was introduced to Rebekka who was able to converse with me in English and catered to my every need. I ordered the Calamari which was accompanied with mash potato - absolutely exquisite dish which I will make sure to have again when I return.

I had also lost my phone and was unable to reach my loved ones at home - Rebekka could see I was distressed and made it her priority to help me find my way home. I am so grateful to Rebekka for trusting me to use her phone and calling the service of her IT friend to help me locate my own phone - all the while managing a restaurant of customers! She was an absolute star and sent me on my way with a plan of action which made me feel a million times better. While the food at Prime Argentinian Steakhouse was the best food I had in all of Austria - I will be returning to this little restaurant to visit my Austrian amigo, Rebekka again. I can tell she makes everyone feel just as welcome and at home, as she did me. Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic dinner and experience!

Would also highly recommend their Austrian red wine, Markowitsch....

It’s a TOURIST TRAP, and unfortunatelly we got caught. They call you in from the street, which is always a bad sign, but we went in as a whole group, so.. Me and 3 others have ordered “american spare-ribs” - sorry but the ribs were dry as a sole, they had almost no marinade on them, but they bring you a BBQ sauce, so I had to put the whole bbq sauce on it to make it flavourfull. Another star down is for the “callers”( men waiting outside on the street calling people in) who were CONSTANTLY and mindlessly moving around the doors (not even coming in or out) which opened and closed every 5seconds - and guess what, we were sitting by the doors and it’s 2’ degrees outside. Another star down for ignoring us since we orderder until we wanted to pay - they came zero times to ask us if we want something else or if we like it. And the last thing was that they have charged us more - I have ordered ribs and lemonade which is 19€ + 5,9€ = 24,9€, but they charged me 27,30€, but I realised that when it was too late. And not only me, others as well. Which made me quite angry, cause due to all of the things above I wasn’t planning on giving them any tip. So, NOT RECOMMENDED. The only star is from those in our group that had a steak and...
