The food is good, a bit basic and traditional, but still good. However we had to pay 4 euros a for a bottle of tap water and that was a bit too much. All in all, pretty ok

Edit: to answer the kind owner who took their time to politely answer my review I want to point out a couple of things: Yes, I value the cost of paying your workers with a decent salary and all the service costs included, I'm glad to read such a point of view directly from a owner of a restaurant. That is clearly not the problem, we were not expecting free water at all. The main point of the tap water problem is that the menu is only in German and when we asked for tap water we were just told we would be charged (undefined price). Our group of friends is not into alcohol and from what I gathered if nobody takes a beer than tap water is not free. Fine, next time just make it clear, I understand the policy for all the reasons above. We felt like it was given for granted, and as foreigners we were surprised. We might have chosen some other soft drink probably. Hence the 3 stars, still pretty good and would reccomend, but this misunderstanding made it slightly...

The negative review is mostly reflected by the food quality. We were enticed by the reopening and veggie options as a prominent feature on the menus and billboards. We ordered two veggie bratwurst and a veggie schnitzel, so maybe the meat options are better. The food was bland, very much freezer produce, and not handmade. Portions were huge but we really forced ourselves to eat the food because it was so bad and we were hungry. We were charged for sauce (€1.50 for ketchup and additional cost of lemon for a coke zero). The WiFi was temperamental and service was friendly but felt understaffed for bar and front of house ordering (only 2 staff members doing both). Would not recommend to friends other than for a quick drink because of the convenient location. Tip was automatically added to the top of the bill at 10% which we did not want to pay, but had no option. There are many much nicer, cheaper and friendlier...

On vacation in Vienna, this was our first stop for food. We wanted some authentic food, and we got some, very good Schnitzel, very good Goulash, very good Farmers Banquet, they also do a All you can eat buffet for lunch. Menu available in german and english, and the staff speaks very good english, so therefore they will be able to help you, and the service they offer is good! They have a terrace and an inside smoking area, which is well ventilated. Affordable prices, good selection of food and drinks, wide enough that you can find something you'd like, but not too wide as to be overwhelming. Would totally recommend if you're around or en route to the Schönbrunn Palace. Writing this during our third visit in this place, for a good Schnitzel before we leave.

A perfect restaurant near the city center with friendly staff and delicious food! They have Wiener schnitzel made from different types of meat (chicken, turkey, pork, calf). It's very large (over the whole plate) and most tasty with typical Austrian potato salad. I can also recommend their dumpling with cream sauce and tomato soup. The waiters are dressed locally in typical Austrian dress, thanks to which you'll get the true vibe of Austrian culture. But they all speak English very well and help you with everything. The atmosphere is very friendly and the men toilets are based in London style, which is also a lot nicer than usual toilets. Definitely a place that's worth a visit (and surely more times)! 🤩😊

It's great. Very lovely place. I love their decor and setting both inside and outside. They have a large open terrace area, which was completely packed when I visited. And for a good reason. The staff talked in relatively good English, so I was able to communicate quite well. I've ordered cordon Bleu with turkey. I think it was crispy good with nice stretching cheese inside and the portion size was quite large as you would expect. While staff initially asked against offering sourkrout I went with it anyway and I enjoyed it as well. Place was clean, so there is nothing else to complain about.
