McDonald's Wien — Restaurant in Vienna

If possible, I wouldn’t even give one star. This isn’t about the food but about the staff. On 10.20 we wanted to place an order, but the staff told us they only started taking orders at 10:30. So, we found a seat to rest for a bit. Around 10:45, a short Asian-looking man came over, tapped on our table, and said, “You can only sit here if you’ve placed an order. This isn’t a hotel.”

Honestly, if you’re going to show up to work with a bad attitude or speak to customers in such a confrontational way, maybe it’s better not to come to work at all. After that, we even saw him gossiping about us with the staff in the back and exchanging looks with the guests nearby. His attitude gave off a vibe like, “I just kicked out some teenagers who were just sitting there chatting.”

I really don’t understand where this sense of superiority comes from. Simply saying, “Would you like to place an order? We’re now taking orders,” would’ve avoided so much trouble. Show...

I would like to dedicate this negative comment to the staff, specifically to the woman speaking Arabic, who was working at the McCafé section today (16:55, August 1st, 2025). Unfortunately, I do not know her name, and there are no name tags visible. The employee deliberately ignores customers trying to speak to her, carelessly throws the orders, watches videos on her phone while working, and overall seems completely uninterested in selling coffee and beverages.

This is not the first time this has happened, but I’ve always chosen to overlook it. I’m surprised that such a rude person is still allowed to work in sales and deal directly with customers. There’s also constantly loud Arabic chatter with people who appear to be her friends, sitting near the McCafé.

"Don’t pay in cash, they’ll steal your change" "This is the worst McDonald's restaurant I’ve ever been to. During my second visit, the cashier stole from my 10-year-old daughter. She paid with a 20-euro bill but was only given 10 euros in change. It is unacceptable that they take advantage of a child’s innocence to commit such abuses. This demonstrates a total lack of professionalism and ethics.

Additionally, during my first visit, I was treated terribly. Even the manager, instead of helping me, told me not to speak English and refused to assist me unless I spoke German, showing a racist attitude and complete lack of empathy.
