Ristorante Pizzeria Santa Lucia — Restaurant in Vienna

This place is a little off the beaten path in Vienna but it is well worth multiple visits. The food is amazing and the staff were so friendly and kind.

We were on the last leg of our European honeymoon when we got to Vienna. This place wasn't too far from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. To say we loved it would be an understatement. Out of our four nights in Vienna we went here three times!

The food is all great. The pasta was cooked to perfection, their pizzas were equally as good, and the tiramisu was delicious.

The staff recognized us from our frequent visits and on our last night when they learned that it was our last night before flying back to the States they gave my wife a free piece of tiramisu.

What a great find this restaurant was! With a real independent vibe it has wonderful service and brilliant food for the low prices. It’s done out quite nicely inside but I chose to sit at one of the handful of tables on the pavement outside. While it’s not the most beautiful of streets to be sat on it was really nice and the service didn’t suffer, despite there only being a single member of staff working.

The menu is huge and you’re certainly spoilt for choice. I opted for a pizza which was served quickly and was massive, loaded with toppings. Full of taste and cooked well it certainly was a satisfying meal. Decent enough range of drinks were available too, including some house wine at very good prices.

It might be a bit of a basic venue and in a less touristy area but it’s a great spot and I’ll be returning again when I’m next...

Unbelievable, how nice the personal was. The food is delicious and the pizza is by far the best one I've got in Vienna. Location is very practical if you are visiting and do some sightseeing around the city with Belvedere Castle+Botanical Garden and the City Centre nearby, makes this place the perfect location to stop and get something warm and delicious to eat in-between. The public transportation is also amazing, having a tram, a buss, metro and also train lines nearby connecting you to the whole city lines wich allows you to visit more places. What can I say more than that, would be a big thank you. I love this little hidden gem 💎 of Vienna. Give it a try. As I was very pleased with my experience before, I wish the person reading this an ever greater experience than the one I've had.
