The food really was top tier. From taste to presentation to price, everything was thought of. The plates, toppings, salad sides. It really gave a high-end feel to the occasion (my girlfriend and I don't go out for dinner often). We decided to enjoy our evening a little extra, so we were at roughly 35 per person, but in comparison to most restaurants I've been to, this was, dare I say, cheap.

The service was also very good, but seeing as they've only recently opened their doors, I'm sure there is room for improvement. It's one of the aspects that takes some getting used to and therefore feel they have room to grow.

Being a restaurant, the food has to be good, the atmosphere is created but the service is something that is influenced by the people. On a bad day, it might be less, but because it is human input, and people are critical of themselves, you always want to improve.

The atmosphere was very pleasant. The cats themselves are a reason to pop in and have a drink (and maybe a selfie ;)) but lighting was good: not too dim but not too bright either. Probably how you would prepare lighting at home for dinner. The music was a mixture of Japanese, electronic, jazz, r 'n b, partyish. Something for everyone and not too loud, just enough so you don't hear what your neighbors are gossiping about.

Head on over if you're in the mood for some good food! It's definitely a good get-together venue for all ages. Try out the Ryu Rolls and fried...

Well, we’ve been there based on the reviews that we’ve saw. I would say if you’re a foreigner stay out. They don’t seem to speak English or they try to not speak it.

However, we were greeted at the entrance after standing there for quite some time. They gave us a seat and we’ve ordered our food. We ordered the nigiri plate, the salmon plate and extra rice and 2 miso soups. As the first thing that came out was the salmon we were already on the lookout for the remainder of the order. We soon thought that the remainder would be presented as soon as our current plate was finished, but to no avail. The waiter came to pick up the plate and asked if we wanted the bill?

He said we didn’t order anything else and he couldn’t help us as the kitchen was closed (10pm). They left us waiting for about 10 minutes to present the bill which had items on there that we didn’t even order. When asking for a VAT receipt we were told that they had no more paper to print while they were holding a new roll of paper. After the installation of the roll they eventually gave us the VAT receipt but it had another item added to it, which we also did not...

Disappointing service

I’m writing this review a bit late, but we visited this restaurant a few days ago. When we arrived, the main area was a bit full, so the waiter offered to seat us in another hall on the side, which was completely empty and quiet. That was fine but the problem started after that.

We waited around 15 to 20 minutes before a waiter even came to take our order. Then, after ordering, it took about 30 to 40 minutes for the food to arrive. I had to go myself and remind them, because it seemed like they had forgotten we were sitting there. The waiter apologized and said the food was almost ready.

When it finally arrived, the food was okay.. but it still didn’t meet our expectations completely. The real issue was the poor service. The restaurant wasn’t even that crowded, so I don’t understand why things took so long. It felt like they forgot we existed just because we were in a different room.

Overall, not a terrible experience, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re expecting good service or...

We had some high hopes for this place - great ambience, interesting Instagram, very unusual for Vienna. Our first suspicion arose once we saw the place from the street - shady old door, which leads you downstairs (but here’s nothing to complain about, just noticing). The worst came when we encountered the food. Without many unnecessary words - it is crazy expensive for the quality you get. Please believe us when we say - fish is definitely not fresh. Or if it’s fresh, it is not raw, like it needs to be in sushi. The price level is compatible to the better sushi places in Vienna, like Iko/Nagano/Mochi. This place is even worse than Kitcha. Sushi rice is overcooked, as if you did at home. We need to compliment the friendliness of the staff, the waiter was friendly and cool, but the owners are definitely scamming people with such quality. Avoid and better go to Unkai or Mochi!

This is the best funkiest coolest restaurant in town. Their options are creative and amazing. Everything looks exciting and will definitely fit all appetites. It's a place with countless wonders and endless surprises. Perfect for dates and gatherings! Ingredients are fresh and flavorful, very rare to find in most restaurants. Needless to say their signature rolls are absolutely a must-try. Cocktails are super unique and homemade. Thank you Daniel for making this amazing experiences for us. This place is totally underrated. I felt the purest hospitality in somewhere totally unexpected. I will recommend this to everyone visiting vienna.
