Tür 7 – American Bar Wien: We are on holiday and will be back on January 8th 2026 — Restaurant in Vienna

The recent visit to this speakeasy bar was soooo good so I want to come back to Vienna just to visit this place again!

From the moment we walked in (quite a big group of people), we were amazed by warm and cozy atmosphere. Glen and Sebastian truly went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Their expertise in mixology is unbelievable, and they made some of the best unique cocktails. Each drink was a "portrait", perfectly matching each personality of our team. Even as a particularly picky person when it comes to drinks, they managed to match my tastes perfectly, showing their incredible skills and attention to details. They are very open to honest feedback and really care if their guests like the drinks.

Looking almost like nothing from the outside, but.. it couldn't have been better! We've found a true masterpiece of a bar. Wonderful in every way. Hospitable bartenders don't let the bar go beyond seating capacity, so it never feels like everyone is crammed together. This place is all vibe without the crowds. Love the vintage, old fashioned decoration which also has the modern elements. Intimate, dimly lit, background music do randomly perfect, not too loud. The service was excellent. They are doing their masterful craftpersonship - passionate mixing upscale cocktails using top shelf liquors. 'Ambience' fee included. The cute son of the owner treated us to absolutely unique cocktails. Did I mention that he's cute?! ;-) I'm intoxicated. It's quite refreshing to find a low key, that still maintains such an outstanding bar experience. 5 stars!...

Dissapointed. The bar itself is nice and cosy, although the space is divided into 2 rooms and the bar is in the main one - we took the other room which was a mistake cause we didn’t see how any of the cocktails were made. The cocktails cost 20€?! a piece and you can only choose the base alcohol the rest is a “surprise”. My cocktail was very underwhelming to say the least it was very strong and l couldn’t taste any other flavors other than white rum and lemon. There was also no music, next to us was a group of teenagers (weird they can afford a bar like this) who were very loud and also contributed to an overall bad experience.
