street food at its best! having born in BJ and lived in NYC, i grew up loving street food and food trucks (some of the best local food are from food trucks) we came here for vienna hotdog then came back for beef kebab sandwich and a wrap. i have been to turkey 13 times (not as a tourist but to visit boyfriend at the time) so i know what good kebab is! and kebab here is really good and tasty. portion size is ridiculous! when they handed over my husband his sandwich i simply laughed and said "how are you going to eat this much food"? (and he is 6'5!) and it is unbelievably cheap. their pizza looks good too but i run out of my stomach space to have any (vienna just has too many places for food hard to try them all in two weeks!) but next time when we come back (yes, we are coming back to vienna!) i'll try their pizza! also, staff there work hard... they hustle to move the line. and they all seem happy. that is my kind of food truck! (ps, i am honestly shocked to see people complaining over €5 for an over stuffed sandwich that has beef! you cannot even get this in china! this is 2019 and the capital city of austria! if you do not have €5 to spend on a MEAL, you should ALWAYS bring your own food!...

The kebab is very good, really! One of the best I've had in Vienna (and I've had many) But I have to remove one star because of the service. The price is very high, so we expect at least a good service, a smile or more attention and care. Another star was lost because they don't accept cards. C'mon, it's 2023, the center of the most liveable city in the world. One day I had no cash and I had to withdraw. I gave them a EUR 50 bill and they complained I had no small change(!!). It was something and 20 cents. They did not charge the 20 cents. Next time I went there, I was planning to give something and 50 cents, to compensate for the previous time. I order exactly the same thing and was charged something and 50 for that!! How come?? So they think they overcharged me, but actually not, I was being nice and gave them only 10 cents more. By the way, I'm going to remove another start because of this nasty incident! I really hope they increase the quality of the service, compatible...

6,9 Euro für Hühnerkebab, weiches längliches Hotdogbrot, Portion gut. ich war zu Mittag dort, was für die Gegend wohl eher untypisch ist. Trotzdem war einiges dort los, wobei jedoch niemand beim Kebab anstand (sondern nur bei Pizza/Würstel). Es gibt Kalb (Faschiert) oder Huhn. Der Hühnerspieß war nur oben sehr schön angebraten - habe ich so bisher auch erst sehr selten gesehen, macht aber vielleicht sogar durchaus Sinn wenn man den Grill auch nur oben oder unten aufdrehen kann. Also oben schön angebraten, unten hell weil gerade frisch runtergeschnitten. Bei so einem Standl wo viel los sein kann bzw. ist, ist es OK wenn man Fleisch vorschneidet. Ich habs auch aus der Schaufel bekommen. Heiß wars nicht mehr, gerade noch ausreichend warm. Farbe sehr oranglich, geschmacklich durchschnittlich. War OK, nur die Menge war im Verhältnis zum Rest zu wenig. das Brot war gut. das längliche Hotdog Brot ist super weich und lässt sich super drücken. Etwas zu knautschig wars aber schon, denn teilweise hat man richtig reißen müssen beim Abbeissen. Also vermutlich nicht ganz frisch. Direkt aufs Fleisch kamen zunächst die Saucen. Auf Empfehlung hin nahm ich alle 3 Saucen. scharfe Sauce, Knoblauchsauce und Yoghurtsauce. Obwohl ich versucht habe diese nachher noch einzeln herauszuschmecken war das unmöglich. Sie haben sich sehr gut mit dem Fleisch vermischt und es war nur noch eine Sauce. Die hat mich jedoch jetzt nicht umgehauen und hat auch weder nach Knoblauch, noch nach Kräuter geschmeckt und scharf war sie auch in keinster Art und Weise. Danach kam Eisbergsalat, weiße halbe Zwiebelringe, 2 halbe Tomatenscheiben und viel Rotkraut, welches interessanterweise nach Radieschen geschmeckt hat. Das war mir von der Menge her auch einfach too much - einige Bissen haben nur danach geschmeckt. Auf Karottenstifte habe ich verzichtet. Salatgurken gabs Gott sei Dank gar keine. Die Belegung war OK, der Kebab hat sich sehr gut essen lassen. Verteilt war es aber etwas ungleichmässig zwischen oben (Salat) und unten (Fleisch und Saucen). beide Verkäufer waren sehr freundlich, der Stand war sauber. Fazit: Anfangs dachte ich mir noch das wird ein sehr guter Kebab, weil ich diese weichen Brote mag, es war aber etwas zu gummig/zäh. Das Fleisch ist Standard und war leider nur warm und nicht knusprig. Die Saucen konnten mich auch nicht überzeugen und es war mir etwas zu viel Rotkraut drinnen und dafür zu wenig Fleisch. War aber ein guter Kebab, würde ich durchaus wieder...
