Vanillas Wien — Restaurant in Vienna

Even though some of the reviews and photos are from the already closed location on Freyung and the second location still in operation in Hietzing, the café on Wallensteinplatz is the newest of the Vanillas chain and takes a slightly different approach. For one thing, it is not as feminine and playful with its pastel colours and filigree furniture, but has a more solid look. The vintage furniture and the old pictures and engravings on the wall exude a pleasant sense of calm. The staff are also quicker and more attentive and perfectly replace the missing menu, which they have in their heads and are happy to recite on request. Probably wrong time and date (tisch 30, 30.04.2023) but our experience was terrible. One waitress was always super busy, another girl and man were making up the kitchen (30mins before closing can explain it) But when we got the bill I asked why all prices dont match the menu the answer was "we just changed menu but the one you ordered from was old with old prices" Instead of apologizing and offer solution the waitress mentioned that due her mistake we got 0.60 EUR discount !!! Sorry what? We just wanted to know why our bill 2 times different from menu. I think they were tired and didnt care about service. But since then I walk 2...

Wir waren heute zum ersten und zum letzten Mal im Vanillas. Ich habe eine "FRISCHE" Waffel bestellt, die aus der Flasche kam und alles andere als eine frische Waffel war. Ganz abgesehen davon, dass sie fest und geschmacklos war.

Die auf der Karte angebotenen Früchte konnte man suchen. Die Waffel wurde dann noch vollgeklatscht mit Schokolade, die ebenfalls aus der Tube kam. Was mir gar nicht geschmeckt hat. Das Himbeereis war lecker. Für 6,90 € erwarte ich mir mehr als das. Der Service lies zu wünschen übrig, die beiden Damen haben sich hinter der Theke auf den Boden gesetzt und versteckt sich, die Kellner saßen zusammen im Nebenraum am Tisch und haben sich unterhalten. Ich habe mehrmals gerufen, bevor einer reagierte. Schade, dass Lokal ist wirklich nett. Um die mangelhafte Kritikfähigkeit an meiner Bewertung zu kommentieren, ich bin als Mitarbeiter mit meinem Unternehmen sehr zufrieden und glücklich dass ich dort arbeiten kann.

Woher auch immer Sie diese Informationen haben, ich hoffe Sie werden selbst mal von Ihren Mitarbeitern bewertet und reflektieren dann mal ihr Verhalten.

Ich habe selbst gesehen, dass die Dame hinter der Theke, den Teig aus der Flasche auf das Waffeleisen geleert hat und mir den letzten Rest aus der Flasche rausgedrückt, was nicht mal mehr zu einer ganzen Waffel gereicht hat. Ich habe auch nicht gesagt, dass es keine frischen Früchte waren aber die 4 Himbeeren und die 4 Heidelbeeren extra zu erwähnen finde ich übertrieben. ich habe selbst davon ein Foto gemacht. Vielleicht habe ich an dem Tag einen schlechten Tag erwischt aber nach dem Feedback von Ihnen, bin ich mir sicher dass ich mein Geld dahin trage wo ich als Kunde geschätzt werde und man...
