VAPIANO Wien Mariahilferstraße — Restaurant in Vienna

Dear all, I would like to warn you, this Vapiano as it is today, have nothing to do with old Vapiano. The quality of food is awful. Please do not go here and spend your money. We were today (13 of February 2021) here and ordered two pizzas and 3 types of pasta. Pasta was overcooked, with huge level of cheap oil and without this lovely taste, that we used to in Vapiano. I ordered Polo Piccante, which I like and ordering in Vapiano already more than 7 years. I tried and through it in the garbage. Same was with the new Pasta, limited menu, of my wife and daughter. I don't what they did, but it was impossible to eat. We spent around 60 Euros for the whole family and stayed hungry, because we have to through away all food in the garbage. I am not even mentioning this zero service of rude guy, who took our order. He started to accept my order and afterwards answered 2 calls of some people who ordered delivery. I have to wait, than no excuse, nothing. Unfortunately old Vapiano was bankrupt and several companies bought restaurants of Vapiano in Vienna. I don't know who is the owner of Vapiano near Mariahilferstraße, but, you should review your approach, because this will not continue further........ Worst...

We both were unfortunately absolutely disappointed by this vapiano in the Mariahilferstrasse. We came extra to this restaurant and walked all the way from the Westbahnhof. The restaurant was either not heated or really badly because we were freezing. We hoped that the hot food would warm us up, but unfortunately my lasagna was not even hot, but it should actually still be sizzling. It was pretty tasteless, added salt and pepper, plus fresh basil sveral times to make it at least taste like something. Prices are more expensive than before corona, but the portions seem smaller. An arabic family had 2 sreeming boys next to us, which made the atmosphere even worse. The payment situation was beyond ridiculous! There were 5 girls with vouchers, but the cashier was totally overwhelmed & had a hard time figuring out how to process it. 2 colleagues came to joke with him, instead of opening a second cash register. So we had to wait 10+ minutes in line just to pay. Needless to say we didn't tip as the service & food wasn't good! Wouldn't recommend this chain at all, actually was never...

We were there on a Tuesday. I am very aware of the fact that they have many customers that day because of the 9.90 for a pasta deal but nothing could justify having to wait for pasta for more than an hour. And then the said pasta being undercooked. First, we waited for 30 minutes and then went to ask them about the whereabouts of our order. We were told that it will be ready in 20 minutes. We waited another 30 minutes and went to ask them again. And after waiting for an hour we were told that we'll have to wait another 20-30 minutes or that we can have our money back. At that point we had already waited for an hour so we didn't want our money back. And it was getting really late and most restaurants would've closed in under an hour. Then, finally, FINALLY, (after more than 1 hour and 30 minutes) our order was ready. And I don't know how you can undercook pasta in a place that mainly sells pasta&pizza but they did it. After all that fiasco we just went to the McDonald's that was on the same street so we didn't go...
