The atmosphere was lively and upbeat. I was really to excited to come here for dinner because I had come years ago and it was very good. This time I will call it good but not excellent. We started with the oyster Rockefellers and we enjoyed those. We also had the crabcakes which I thought were OK but my son thought that they were great. we also had an order of grilled shrimp which were actually pretty well seasoned and tasty. For my entrée, I had the braised short ribs. The sauce they were served in was really good, but some of the meat was not as tender as I thought it would be. The mashed potatoes served with them were good. My son ordered the lobster mac & cheese, and it was terrible. We actually sent it back and had them remove it from the check because not only was the macaroni not flavorful, but it was also soft with a terrible texture. In addition , the lobster tail was also pretty yucky and it is very hard to mess up lobster tail so we didn’t understand that one. The dirty martinis were absolutely excellent. The lemon drop martini was good as well. It was packed when we arrived at 7:45, but we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Our server was just OK. She never really asked us anything about ourselves or interact with us. She simply took our orders and brought everything to us that we asked for. She wasn’t rude. She just really wasn’t that friendly, but I know that it was busy when we were there. They have a very large menu selection and maybe next time I’ll try the steak or salmon. Lastly, br prepared that this is one of the more expensive restaurants at Atlantis Me and my son split everything - two cocktails, one entree and two appetizers and two glasses of lemonade and it was $200. $40 of that was taxes, fees and tip.

After reading reviews, I was skeptical whether the quality of the food and service was going to be worth the price. I've eaten at the top steakhouses across the USA so I know how quality steak should taste but before I get to the steak I must talk about the Oysters Rockefeller. DELICIOUS!!! Make sure you take some of the bread for soaking up the leftover sauce in the shell. Now to the steak. I went with the Prime Dry Aged Bone In Ribeye with Bernaise and Lobster Tail. Unfortunately the first steak presented was not cooked medium rare but they quickly brought out a replacement and it was cooked to perfection. It had all the flavors you are looking for with dry aged beef. The lobster was cooked perfectly as well. The baked potatoe was large enough for the 3 of us to share and the brussel sprouts were really nicely prepared. My wife enjoyed her chicken and my teenage son said his filet was the best steak he's ever had and he's had a lot of great steaks. Service was exceptional!! The entire staff were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Yes you will spend a fair amount to eat here but if you are looking for quality steak this is a MUST EAT while in the Bahamas.

Overall a very disappointing experience. Upon our on time arrival for our reservation the hostess simply looked at us and “greeted” us by saying, “yes?” After three attempts at ordering a bottle of wine, they had one for us to enjoy. The food itself was just ok. King crab was previously frozen, which I understand but it was water logged. My husband loved his Cesar salad and my cream of mushroom soup was delicious. Dinner for me was the short rib, very fatty and little flavor. Mashed potatoes were soupy. Husband had the filet and he enjoyed it though it wasn’t served very warm. Let me back track a bit, we had asked them to not bring everything so close together, to time everything out to where there was a good 5 to 10min window in between each course. The crab, soup, and salad were all brought at the same time. As soon as my husband was done eating his Caesar salad the food immediately arrived for our entrée course. They weren’t even going to clear away the plates until I asked them to do so. No one ever came back over to ask us if everything was OK or if we enjoyed our meal. In fact that was not done at all during the evening. I had to go to another table to get salt and pepper because again no one came back around. Most of the staff seemed very preoccupied with flirting with one another, and being on their phones. Even when we left the restaurant, no one asked us if we enjoyed the meal or to even wish us a good night. The hostess was too busy on her phone to even see that we left. Our bill was over $300 and I could’ve gotten a better experience at Texas roadhouse. I do not recommend wasting your time or your money at Seafire.

Seafire bills itself as a premier steakhouse. Its prices and advertisements suggest they understand how to prepare quality cuts. The reality is that this is no more than a glorified Applebees. Trust the reviews that are critical of the steaks. The value just isn’t worth the price of anything on the menu. We started with the crab cakes. I respect the originality of the design, but don’t expect a traditional crab cake. It is much more like a seafood hush puppy. The real criticism is that the crab tasted too much like tuna. I’m not sure what was going on there, but it is possible that the puppy was filled with limited crab and mostly tuna. Although I’m glad I didn’t order the porterhouse or cowboy ribeye, my partner got the filet mignon and it lacked flavor and finish. I thought I’d save myself the steak disappointment and order the steakhouse burger. I was wrong. The burger was well overcooked when it was supposed to be medium. The picture included here is the “medium” second attempt they provided. In addition to the burger, I got the lobster bisque. It was one of the worst soups I’ve ever had in my life. Extremely salty, but not in an appetizing way more like a disgusting sea salt way. It’s also more like a broth as opposed to a white cream based. The lobster was chewy but even if the texture was good, the flavor was completely drown out by the bisque. As with several resort restaurants, it’s overpriced and lacks quality. As with all the staff across Atlantis, our waiter was very accommodating and friendly. The food just isn’t any good - especially for that price.

We went here based on a recommendation and left feeling so disappointed. I’m not sure if the food quality in Europe is just better but the food wasn’t great. First of all my chips were all black inside. The filet I had was so tough that even the steak knife struggled to cut through it, a filet is supposed to be so tender that you can cut it with a butter knife. It was a really thick cut steak they gave me which didn’t work well for the fact that I wanted it cooked medium, so the steak ended up being so bloody and all I could stomach was eating around the edges of the steak. I asked for a chimichurri sauce but for some reason they serve their chimichurri sauce warm? It wasn’t very nice as a chimichurri sauce is supposed to be fresh and cold, or room temperature at least. The mac n cheese was so bland, hardly tasted any cheese and it could’ve passed off as a basic béchamel sauce with macaroni. The service was not good at all, considering that a compulsory 15% tip is included onto the bill I feel like the waitress could’ve at least given us a little smile if she wasn’t going to make us feel welcome. We won’t be returning

We went here for a nice honeymoon dinner. Food was pretty good portions are ok. Some people had good service, ours felt very rushed and there was only us and 4 other tables! Waiter came over to ask us if we were ready 2 times wishing 4 minutes. We had just sat down and deciding what we wanted. We do not go out much and last time out of the country was 7 years ago. We get rushed in NY enough. It was only 5:45pm and they open at 5pm so no reason to rush. When making reservations we were asked if it was for a special occasion. We also called ahead to confirm 45 min prior and they asked again and were so excited to hear it was for our honeymoon. Not sure why they ask because there was nothing special about it when there. The waiter didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert and brought the check. The table near by they asked with a different waiter. When you spend that kind of money you should not be rushed at all; especially when it is slow season! Pretty disappointing.
