The Palms — Restaurant in New Providence

My recent experience at The Palms at SLS Baha Mar was nothing short of a nightmare. What was supposed to be a pleasant dining experience quickly turned into an evening I’d rather forget, thanks to the appalling service and rude treatment we received from one of the servers.

From the moment we were seated, it was clear that the staff lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. Our server, whose name I won’t mention, was not only inattentive but downright hostile. We were greeted with an attitude that made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Questions about the menu were met with eye rolls and curt, dismissive responses, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

The service was shockingly slow, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. Our food took an eternity to arrive, and when it finally did, the presentation was sloppy, and the taste was far from impressive. To add insult to injury, the server made it clear that our presence was unwelcome by ignoring us for the rest of the meal, and when we finally flagged them down for the check, they tossed it onto the table without a word.

The overall experience was a stark contrast to what one would expect from a restaurant with such a reputation. The combination of dreadful service and a rude server left a sour taste in our mouths, and we left the restaurant feeling completely let down.

Terrible terrible terrible the worst experience I ever had in my life. Very unwelcome lots of eye rolling they were having a meeting, but the restaurant was open. The one waitress told us to step aside made us wait. Talking to us like we are some creature and not even human being. We asked her for a bag of ice if she could because one of our Friend had fallen down from the step getting there and she rolled her eyes again and say no we don’t have even seek other options for us. Do not go to this restaurant very unprofessional unwelcoming didn’t even look like they wanted to serve us and I was in the hospitality restaurant business, so that is a huge mistake. Its sad that such an upscale hotel has such miserable staff that treats people like they’re less than them and like you’re an annoyance. Tip for them, dont work at customer service if you dont know how to deal with people. The staff all around this place is extremely rude.
