It was almost 12mn and most of the restaurants had closed by 10pm. This restaurant advertises as 24hrs open so we went ahead and checked it out. It has a sportsbar type of vibes. Menus shown on the web are not entirely available throughtout the opening hrs (so hold your expectations😅) They have specific sets available per time of dining. We were given a menu for late night dining, mostly just burgers, appetizers and drinks. SERVICE was SO-SO and FOOD SUBPAR for the prize. Drinks were served first while we waited for the food. We ordered sprite, coke zero and a fruit punch. Who doesn't know the taste of sprite? 😅 The one served to us tasted like water with a bit of fizz. Hence I asked if it could be changed. A few mins after, they returned with another glass of the soda, saying this one came from the can (the previous one came from the tap with a hose which was broken🤷‍♀️) As if my disappointment couldn't get any farther (1. not able to eat what I originally planned to have because it's unavailable, 2. then the drink..I try not to complain as much as I can, but we all would like to get our money's worth, right?) The buffalo wings and calamari came after minutes of waiting, assuming it's cooked per order, hence the waiting time. The calamari was SALTY and wings were served COLD. I asked if it was supposed to be cold like that, they took it back without saying anything. Waited a few more minutes only to get the same thing--sad, cold, buffalo wings😅 Mentioned it with the manager, so hopefully nobody else gets a $21 + vat "microwaved" food. If you have other choices, I suggest go eat elsewhere. But if you'd like to experience a hit or miss, they by all means. Regretting not able to read previous reviews😂

This was my 1st visit. Had some family in town and took them to Visit Baha Mar, and decided to get a bite to eat. We were seated quickly. The atmosphere was ok, low light, sports bar type pub. The service was just ok though. Our drink orders took long, surprisingly, and arrived with the appetizers, to put in it perspective. We ordered wings, conch fritters, Caesar salad, and cauliflower bites. The cauliflower bites were tasty, as well as the salad. The fritters on the other hand were dark as if fried in old oil and very very greasy! I know fritters are fried and have a level of grease naturally from the process but oh man, these were soaked! The wings tasted like they were old as well. The manager was helpful and offered a replacement or to remove it from our bill, so that was good customer service on his part. For the main dishes, the mushroom flatbread, and the Swimming pig burger, were ordered. Both were good. The burger came on a brioche bun and was tasty. I like to try places at least once for myself, so this one is in the books. Maybe it was an off night, but if you're into sports the bar area looks pretty cool and had a large tv.

During our 6 night stay at Baha Mar Grand Hyatt, we ate here twice. Both times were excellent!! My husband ate the Angry Pig flatbread (meat lovers) and the Tomahawk porkchop. Both highly recommended. The kids ordered Chicken and Waffles on the 2nd night. Loved it!! It comes with BBQ sauce, syrup, and honey mustard. My oldest had Chicken and Waffles the 1st night too. My youngest had shrimp cocktail (from the appetizer menu) and Mac-n-Cheese (from the sides menu). He loved that too!! I ordered the Ceasar Salad with Chicken the 1st night and the Chicken Club with Sweet Potato fried the 2nd night. Both were light meals that hit the spot for me. Drinks!!! Yellow Bird...Highly recommended! So yummy! Swimming Pig 75...it is usually made with strawberries, but they were out and replaced that with raspberries. It was ok. Probably would have been better with strawberries. EuroTrip...my husband LOVED it!!! I thought it was pretty good, just strong.

I’ve been to this establishment on at least two separate occasions in the past year. The first time I went, the food was much better and the service was outstanding. Since then, however, both the quality of the food and service have notably decreased. I went here last night with a few friends at around 10:15 pm. To my knowledge, this restaurant is open until at least after 2 am (this is important for later). We were seated quickly, as it was one of the less busy nights, and our waiter (Leo) came over quickly. He got our drink orders and asked if we were ready to order food in which we responded that we needed a few minutes. I’m assuming he noticed the conversation we were having and told us to be mindful that “the kitchen closes at 10:30 pm” so we would have to place our orders in 9 minutes. We placed our food order and the food also came out relatively quickly. However, I ordered a side Caesar salad and it came with bits of bacon on it. I called the other waiter over (Leo was now preoccupied with other tables) and informed him that I do not eat red meat and asked politely if it could be redone. The waiter gives me a cautious look and says he’s not sure because the kitchen is closed (it’s about 11 pm at this point). He then took the salad to Leo and I noticed them having an exchange that seemed like more trouble than it’s worth, so I flagged him down and told him not to worry about it. He was nice enough and said he would still ask the kitchen. I don’t like to make anyone’s job harder than it has to be and I’m not sure if the menu said that the salad comes with bacon or not, because quite frankly I didn’t read into it as I’m not familiar with many places putting bacon in a Caesar salad. I digress, he took it to the kitchen and came back a few minutes later and asked me “are you allergic to red meat, or do you just not eat it?” At this point I was fed up with the back and forth and so I told him I don’t eat it that’s just my preference but to still leave it and I would try to eat around the bacon (which was very difficult since the pieces were small and chopped up). The food was underwhelming at best…The lemonade tasted like crystal lite, the quesadillas were nothing to write home about, and the Caesar salad was probably the most disappointing outside of the bacon bits. The one item that was true to my first experience here was the truffle fries which did not disappoint. (10/10 would recommend those). After we all ate and packed up our leftovers (around 11:30), two separate tables were seated on both sides of us and proceeded to order and receive food while we waited for our bill. At this point, I also noted that food was still being brought out although we were told the kitchen was closed…twice. I cannot understand the degradation of the service in this establishment but I’ve definitely noticed the change. I would no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for even a casual night out, especially as a resident of...

Dined here late night and was surprised to get seated right away as it was quite full and last year every restaurant here had at least an hour & a half wait. Entrees took about 40 mins and arrived shortly before our drinks by a different person than our waiter. After one drink was placed on the table, the entire 2nd drink was spilled onto our table with a little getting onto our clothing and in our food. The waitperson apologized and left for about 5 minutes to get a rag and wiped off the liquid and ice in the middle of the table onto the floor. While doing so my fork got removed and was never replaced. On telling our waiter, who took forever to come back we really didn’t get much of a reaction or apology. I had only a small amount of my meal before all of this took place. I asked our waiter if we could see a manager but the manager never came so I asked the hostess as she walked by and the manager came over immediately. He was very apologetic as I lifted up the wooden cutting board that my meal was served on and showed him the spilled drink under it that I was holding from spilling into my lap with a cloth napkin for about half an hour. He was genuinely shocked and apologetic. As I was unable to have my meal and I didn’t want it replaced, he took it off the bill, replaced the spilled drink without charging and took 20% off our bill. We had to ask the manager for our bill as we did not see our waiter again. Bar Ha Mar though may have been built as an alternative to Paradise Island is unable to compete. It offers a price tag of being upscale but it’s only a veneer and does not accept America Express. I gave 3 stars only because of the manager’s...
