We have visited Baha Mar previously and decided to give Pizza Lab a second try as our first experience saw roaches on the food in the pizza prep area...well this time confirmed that Baha Mar NEEDS to get this restaurant out of their beautiful resort. The staff is flat out rude (with exception of a few young waiters)..the hostess acted like we were bothering her (she was on her cell phone when we arrived and nobody else in line). She sat us at a filthy table that had food chunks in the chairs too....we waites 17 minutes in an empty restaurant for any server to come by...the staff and management clearly do not care about the cleanliness and nobody is held accountable for customer experience as we visited 2 years ago...and nothing has changed. We went for breakfast and we got omelettes and I specifically asked the waiter if we can get a pancake on the side...he said yes....I then said we do not want a full order and I do not see it offered on the menu as a side...he said, yes we can do a single pancake on the side...the food came...the omelettes were cooked incorrectly...we asked for bacon and mozzarella and we got turkey and mozzarella..not a big deal...but the pancake was disgusting...the cream and fruit jelly had clearly spoiled as both were sour and you could smell that they were spoiled...the server never came to check on us (we were there 45 minutes)..when he came to drop off the check I asked why I was charged for a FULL order of pancakes when I specifically asked for a single pancake on the side...he said "we do not offer pancakes on the side"..I then reminded him and he acknowledged that I specifically asked about a pancake on the side...he said he didn't understand what on the side meant...which I don't buy for a minute. Ive owned restaurants and I know how the operations run at all levels...BAHA MAR NEEDS TO GET RID OF THIS PLACE...its the lowest rated restaurant in the resort and not on par with how beautiful...

My family and I decided to all visit the Bahamas and were suggested to try this place by another local relative. There were about 20 of us. First the waiter tells us that we could only split the bill three ways using card only (which though silly in our minds it was fine) but he refused to serve us (not even a glass of water) or even take our orders until we decided. When we finally decided, we told him to make things easy we will just split based on the table segmentation. Somehow this was still confusing as he insisted we just do one big bill then we can individually mark at the end which belonged to which table segment. We agreed. He left the table and came back about twenty mins later and took our order the way he initially suggested in segments of three. We waited 1 hour before we even got our drinks. When we request for the waiter (Ally) to follow up, he told us he was very busy but doing his best. It was pretty hectic but this just seemed like a poor customer service experience. Anyway, the food starts coming and we notice that all of the entrees had arrived and we still hadn’t gotten the appetizers. I signalled to the gentleman that brought the food and inquired about the apps, to which he seemed rather confused and couldn’t locate it. He had to go back and put in the order again. The food was basic. Very overpriced for the quality received. Service was awful. And the entire family left rather miserable and frustrated with the underwhelming experience we had. This restaurant should definitely reevaluate their policy as we would’ve possibly spent far more of things were better organized and a more efficient system was in place. I definitely won’t be...

Ordered a drink and it came out the wrong way. I told waiter and he said "bartender must have been asleep" and laughed. I probed a bit for a fresh one but didn't push. I drank it and it was terrible. At the end he came with check and asked me how things were, and I said all good except the drink (I had drank the whole thing as I was thirsty). He said he would take off the check. WHen check came he did NOT take off (nor did he say anything). I waited for 10 minutes and when he came back I asked and he said the manager told him I had to pay since I drank the whole drink. I asked to see the manager who told me he couldn't take it off since I drank it and I shouldve told waiter in beginning (which I told him I did). He still refused to take off bill but said if I come back again he'll do something for me. I said I was leaving but he gave me some hokey story about using credit-card (which I never signed final bill) and that he couldn't adjust. I gave up and told him "thanks anyway" and just paid the bill.
In a resort like this, I would expect better and the reason I was there was to check it out for my next vacation (I was staying at the Atlantis). This single experience soured me on the Baha Mar as it gave me the sense that the place is 100% about sucking as much...
