The Current: Baha Mar Gallery and Art Center — Attraction in New Providence

We had such a blast making art and tapping into our creative side but Shanise is the MAIN reason why we love our art class/experience so much. Shanise is an amazing teacher - she is knowledgeable, great in teaching, patient with those who needed more guidance but at the same time able to make sure the fast learners did not feel slowed down. She individually helped us out if we needed her guidance but also just made sure we all had a good time. We loved it and really recommend this to anyone looking for a fun couples or family...

Amazing gallery, we had a wonderful experience there and were so glad we visited during our stay.

The gallery carries a great selection of arts related to Bahamas, and the staff are delightful. We ordered a print which were not available before we left the country, and Jordon and his team were so kind to offer to post it to us. We just received it today and can’t wait to put it up on the wall! Will definitely visit again if we are in Nassau.

No contest, this was the highlight of my trip. The collection of carefully curated art should be mandatory to all visitors staying in The Bahamas. The lessons in history, culture, and local pride that's thoughtfully showcased throughout both the exhibit and shop have added to my overall appreciation of this country. I'm especially grateful for the kindness shown to me by Matthew Ramen and Damien Bernard. I wish I had come here sooner, and I'm excited for my next opportunity...
