Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center — Attraction in New Providence

I went there to get a Covid-19 test done. The testing is administered by Doctor's Hospital at this drive through facility. Good price, fair flow / pace for service, courteous staff. The app was easy to download and use to register and pay. However, I did not realize I had to register and pay online prior to coming for service. The attendants could have saved time and been more efficient by advising of this at the START of the drive through queue either by word of mouth or signage. Instead of waiting till you got to the point for testing and then asking you if you're registered.

This convention center could easiest be a date night location. The amount of art in this convention center boggles the mind. Major props to the team behind the convention center because I’ve never seen a convention center as beautiful as this one.

The art spans multiple topics, with most of them centering around the history of the Bahamas. There are even ceramic faces that are so hyper realistic, it’s like the artist took a 3D scan of someone’s face.

We attended a convention at this location. Overall, the venue was nice. However, it was somewhat cramped and the ability to use the outside spaces were very limited due to rain. It is conveniently located on the hotel grounds and is easy to navigate. It was rather warm and stuffy in some of the rooms, which was contrary to what we were told about bringing jackets and sweaters as it is...
