I would have given this place a 4.5 but as I can’t so giving a 5 star for sure…
Though being honest it’s been like 4-6 months, that I was thinking of visiting this place but cause of the bad reviews of this place and thinking of the high price I most of the time found my business elsewhere..
Now cause of some occasion, I finally decide to visit this place and this was totally worth it except some “GIRLS” I wish I can kill some(just kidding 😗😗)..
Anyways coming to the point this place was obviously pretty and worth a go by…
Now coming about the place.. I would give the place a 8/10.. as it’s well maintained..
Now about the food.. one thing you might need to consider is that most of the mains there is 1:3 and it’s too much of a food to even eat for 3 person and 4 person is suggested if not you love to eat .. 🤤
Now pad thai mixed noodles(pad thai kung) this was really ok ok.. i’ll give a 6/10… very basic for a restaurant like them..(Though we had to reheat it so the taste was a little bit tampered cause of it.. you can try for yourself to find out the taste.. who knows you may love it..)
Boho special fried rice.. this was a must have I say.. i’ll give a 8.5/10.. also they serve ig 2 praws with with.. not sure if they will only give this if u ask for the mixed or not..( DO ASK THEM)..
Now coming to the beef items 🥩..
Black pepper beef was really good it was like a 8/10 and soft texture with the curry to.. enough for 2-3 persons at most..
And the stir fried beef felt like the best for me and it was a 8.5/10.. so if u like beef to order it or you can try something new as well..
And the watermelon juice was pretty fresh and good and made from real watermelons.. though it felt a like a little stale but overall pretty good 8.2/10..
Now at this end I would say you should visit this place once.. if you visit there with 2 friends or so order the rice and a items to go with.. as this will be cost effective and filling at the same time…( cause this place is on the expensive side a little)..
Anyways...
Read moreFood is good, really enjoyed the food. Quantity seemed more than adequate for the 1:3 dishes. The decor is beautiful. The price is high but we knew it and hence no complain about that. The problem comes down to service. When we arrived, we didn't see many people but the waiters seemed haphazard. We ignored. We reserved a table for 2 for 7 pm and we were told that they are very strict with reservation time. We arrived a bit earlier and hence placed our orders right at 7. We went to have dinner and have a good time. After dinner, we could not finish everything but realized we needed some drinks to feel refreshed after so much food. Hence, we ordered 2 drinks and asked to give us takeaway. They delayed a lot in bringing the drinks and takeaway and we didn't mind because we took photos meanwhile. But, at 8.30, they tell us to leave because they reserved this table for another group from 8.30 and they were there. This is outrageous because then they shouldn't have taken our drinks order. We were not done with the drinks. And we had already paid but were having our drinks. They made us feel very uncomfortable about this. Which establishment asks guests to leave when they are not done with the food? And who the hell goes out to have a good time and dinner and be done in exactly 1.5 hrs and why were we not informed that the reservation is only for 1.5 hours and why did they accept our drinks order if we were to hurry? I would have given 1 star given how rude they were but since the food was good, i gave 1 more. The big round table waa empty. They could have made those guests seat there temporarily. But, they kept the guests standing to make us feel more awkward. I also think, because we were 2 girls, they were more hostile.
And cherry on top - they did not give us our soup in...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant during the Eid holidays and while the place is beautifully decorated and the food was good, the overall experience was disappointing.
First, our table was not clean when we arrived, and it seemed like it hadn't been properly cleaned after the previous customers left. The cutlery set was missing a fork and spoon, and when our food arrived, we found ourselves searching for tissues or napkins. Unfortunately, there were none on the table, only empty napkin holders. After requesting, we were given tissues on a plate, which felt rather unprofessional.
The service was the worst part. The waiters seemed clueless and inattentive. We noticed another couple nearby who seemed to be enjoying a show – only to later realize their order had been forgotten entirely by the waiter. They eventually received a candle as compensation, though every table already had an electric lamp. Their food arrived just as we were about to leave.
Pad Thai, Hot Basil Leaf Chicken Rice & Chicken Green Curry were good and felt authentic. Mango Sticky Rice with Coconut Ice Cream didn't had coconut ice cream, but felt like butterscotch ice cream and mangoes were not line Thai mango.
Upon finishing our meal, we asked for the leftovers to be packed. One of the items was Pad Thai with a big prawn, which we later discovered was missing from the packed food. The takeaway bag lacked any branding and the food was packed in low-quality boxes, which is unexpected for a restaurant in an upscale area like Banani.
Overall, it seems the restaurant made a mistake by opening right before Eid. They could have opened a few months earlier to better prepare for the holiday crowd. I hope they address these issues soon, as the potential for a great dining experience is there, but the execution...
