ok so before I start rating their food and service and whatnot let me start off by saying what they did right that other restaurants usually don't. 1st - The food actually looks as they were advertised. 2nd - They actually served the food hot, yes you heard it right "HOT" this is where a lot of restaurant fails. They served all the food at the right time and in right order. ok now let's move on to what you guys really care about. Items [10/10]: Lemon Juice (not in the picture) Fruits, Soup & Bento Platter (as shown in the picture), Complimentary Ice-Cream (not in the picture) Taste [10/10]: I don't believe in perfection but this came pretty close, I would still rate it 9 but I gave 10 for a reason and I'll explain that in a bit. So anyway the clear soup was really hot when it was served and it was tasty as well. The fruit was very fresh and tasty. Every item on that Bento platter was upto the mark. Sorry I don't know the name of all the items otherwise I would've explained each item by their taste. Quantity: [10/10]: I don't know how much you can eat but I can eat a lot and I can tell you it's more than enough for 1 person. Price [10/10]: I think a lot of you will disagree with me on this one but I would say 785 for this platter is well worth it. From the way it was presented to the number of item they included in this platter was worth the money. Service [10/10]: I would rate their service 11/10 so I added that extra 1 in the taste section so it looks realistic. From the way they take the reservation to how they behave with the customer to how they serve the food was purely mind blowing. Read If you want to section: Now some of you might be wondering why would anyone spend so much time reviewing foods no one really care about? Well, what can I say, I love writing and I got way too much time on my hand to waste. Some of you might even say this is a paid review, no it isn't. What kind of fool would pay someone to give unrealistic ratings of 10/10? With that being said if you do go and visit the restaurant based on this review and don't like the food then don't come and blame me, my taste bud is different than yours and I didn't ask you to go and try their food.

The full story: from start to finish my trip to Fool's Diner was extremely disappointing. The place was empty when my friend and I walked in for a late lunch. We ordered our drinks first and asked for those to be served while we waited for our food dishes to come. After waiting for a while, I asked the waiter about the drinks and it turned out that he had forgotten about them.

When the first item came, we had to ask for plates which the waiter reluctantly gave us. We had ordered several items to be shared and I thought it was normal that we would eat from our own plates instead of from the dish in the middle of the table.

When the next items came, I had to ask for serving spoons. The waiter initially refused by saying that they don't give spoons and that we should use our own fork and chopsticks. It was only when I asked how I was supposed to pick up the sauce/gravy with a fork when he reluctantly agreed to bring us ONE spoon for the one dish with sauce.

The food itself was very average. The California rolls were mostly just cabbage. The Mongolian Beef was rubbery and the Pad Thai was mushy and overcooked. I suspect that the kitchen had simply reheated leftovers from lunch time.

If this was a typical Bangladeshi restaurant, I would not have these complaints. But Fool's Diner is not an average restaurant. Our bill came to almost two thousand takas for two people which is in the higher range. If you are going to charge this much money, the quality of the food and the service should match your prices. And your waiter should not be arguing when you ask for plates and cutlery.
